Coast/Beach
Amazing Costa Calma/Jandia/Sotavento beach right outside your door. Great for sunbathing, walking and swimming in waist deep, crystal clear waters. You can walk along 15miles of the best beaches direct from your front door. 1/2mile away to nature reserve with waist deep lagoons.
Golf
There are 2 golf courses at Caleta de Fuste (30 mins drive north) and one on the Jandia peninsula (15 mins drive south). There is also a 9-hole pitch and putt course in La Pared, 3 miles west of Costa Calma across the peninsula. A new golf complex has recently opened at Las Playitas which is 25 minutes drive north.
Special interest holidays
Excellent watersports. Windsurfing, kitesurfing, diving and fishing right on the beach.
Travel
35 mins drive to main airport in Puerto Del Rosario via transfer, taxi or car hire. Please contact us for recommendations of companies.
Distances
Costa Calma is a moderately sized resort. Restaurants, bars, banks, shopping centres, leisure facilities and supermarkets are within 2 mins walk of Casa Bella. Jandia Playa and Morro Jable are further south but are still only 15 mins drive away. They all have a wide variety of restaurants, pubs, weekly markets and shops.
Further details
In July World Cup windsurfing and kite surfing events are held over a 2 week period on the Sotavento Beach.
The Oasis Park at La Lajita is 10 mins drive away where there is a zoo, large botanical garden and cactus park, camel rides and numerous animal shows.
