Notes on accommodation
A hire car is essential. All though there is a good bus service.
Accessibility
The villa is suitable for most people, there is a small flight of stairs leading to the front door, the rest of the ground floor and outside are flat and of open plan. It is a very private villa situated in 5000 square metres of garden.
Outside
There is a private heated swimming pool 7 x 3m. A typical Lanzarote-volcanic walled garden area with private terrace and dining table and chairs, sunbathing area and jacuzzi. You will find it very calming sitting outside in the garden area. There is a private patio outside bedroom one with comfortable chairs and table.
There are 180 degree views of the sea and the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Lobo.
Ample parking space.
Coast/Beach
All beaches are accessible from 5 to 30 mins by car.
Golf
Tias 18 hole course 10 minutes by car. Costa Teguise 18 hole course 20 minutes by car. Hang gliding is very popular here with a mountain 5 mins.
Travel
We are central. All locations are accessible within 30 mins.
Distances
There are the fire mountains about a 15 mins drive. Cesar Manriques home which is the famous artists house who developed most of the island about a 25 min drive. The famous 'Cueva de los Verdes' and 'Jameos del Agua' and the cactus gardens about 35-40 min drive. The Marina of Puerto Calero is a 5 minute drive and has many nice restaurants and shops.
Further details
Suitable start point for hikers and cyclists. Bikes are avaiable from Probike, both Raceing and Mountain bikes are available . They will deliver and collect.

I live in Lanzarote with my wife, No children and our 11 year old pet stray dog. My wife and I both retired, but spend most of our time on the Island, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country.

We love La Asomada because of the peace and quiet, fantastic views and very friendly locals. There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with the airport less than an 20 minutes drive away.
