Changeover day
Letting arrangements flexible but normally would ask to be vacated by 10.30am and available at 2pm.

Accessibility
All level walking and one minute to sea front. Disability handles and mat in shower. Very convenient for shops, restaurants, sea front as there are no steep hills.
Outside
Two sets of outdoor tables and chairs plus sun loungers set in own garden. Shared pool which has sunbathing area around, ample sun loungers and shower.
Coast/Beach
10 mins level walk to large Los Pocillos beach (windsurfing as well) or 10 mins walk the other way to the main Puerto del Carmen clean, safe beaches with all facilities including beach cafes etc. Both are long spacious white sandy beaches with umbrellas, sun loungers etc. There are also small beaches opposite with access by lift. Otherwise if you wish to explore, 20 mins drive to lots of other wonderful sandy beaches.
Golf
New Puerto del Carmen golf course and clubhouse- 5 minute drive. 18 hole golf course at Costa Teguise - 20 min drive.
Travel
Arrecife airport 15 mins by taxi for a modest charge or you can pick up cars on hire from many companies established in the airport.
The apartment is within easy reach of all amenities so it would not be essential to hire a car but should you wish there is car hire just around the corner. Buses are two minutes away, as are agents offering excursions.

The Old Town and harbour of Puerto del Carmen 5 min drive or 25 min walk.
Breathtaking Timanfaya volcanic park 25 min drive.
Secluded beaches at Papagayo 25 min drive.
Quiet surfing beach on north coast 30 mins drive.
Cesar Manrique House 20 mins, Cactus Gardens 30 mins, Jameos del Agua 45 mins.
Sunday market at historical old Teguise every Sunday - 20 mins drive
Large weekly market at old capital Teguise 20 mins drive.
Puerto Calero (10 min drive) with marina, fishing trips, restaurants.

Year-round sunshine with no high rise blocks, pylons or large hoardings but everything you could want either within the resort or a short distance away. Best Italian restaurant in town just around the corner! Large choice of shops, restaurants, doctors, childrens' play areas and newly built casino plus good supermarkets all conveniently nearby. You may prefer a drink at the nearby 4 star San Antonio hotel which has nightly floor shows.

About the owner
I am a recently retired civil servant and hope to spend the odd week in between bookings to check everything is up to scratch and to continue visiting this wonderful island. We particularly wanted a central location and were pleased to find this apartment in such a wonderful spot just on the main Avenida.
The island is not only sun, sea and sand. My husband and I particularly like visiting the volcanic area and the Cesar Manrique locations which are quite unique and we always visit in the winter when it is perfect.
Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought this property because of the all year round sunshine especially in the winter. Our spacious apartment is in a perfect location within access to everything we need. As the complex is on the flat and is also on the ground floor it is very easy for anyone with walking difficulties etc.
Unique benefits of the property
Our apartment is very convenient as it is one minute inside the main strip where the restaurants, shops and beaches are. The resort is very safe and family friendly and we have spent many wonderful holidays with our children and grandchildren here.
