Casas del Sol is located in a prime position in Playa Blanca right opposite the little harbour and close to the shops and beaches. These bungalows are situated in beautifully landscaped gardens around a large heated swimming pool. The villas are in clusters but spaced well apart and all are south facing, some with superb sea and island views. These bungalow style villas each have a private garden area with gate and patio furniture and sun loungers. Inside the villas are very well furnished and equipped to include TV, DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and cd/cassette player. Casas del Sol has been attractively lanscaped and all the villas are accessed by footpaths so there is no through vehicular traffic resulting in peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Casas del Sol has a large heated salt water pool, a paddling pool for children and two tennis courts. The beaches and variety of shops and restaurants of Playa Blanca are within a few minutes walk.

Changeover day
Changeover day is usually a Thursday but we can sometimes be flexible, so please ask if an alternative day is required.

| Other: | This villa has a pretty, private patio garden with gate. There is a table and chairs for dining outside, a barbecue plus sunbeds for relaxing in the sunshine. The villa also has a retractable awning on the patio for extra shade if required. |

We can hire a cot and high chair from reception and the use of the safe is payable at reception.
Outside
The villas are situated in beautifully landscaped gardens around a large shared heated pool and a heated paddling pool. There are 2 tennis courts. You can buy ice creams, snacks and drinks as well as postcards and stamps from reception. The villas themselves have a private patio garden with gate. There are sun loungers and patio table and chairs and a barbecue and a retractable awning for extra shade if required.
Coast/Beach
There are 3 golden sand beaches within walking distance of Casas del Sol. The pretty village beach is under 10 minutes walk away, Playa Flamingo is about 10 minutes walk away and Playa Dorada about 20 minutes walk. The nearby beaches of Papagayo are only a short drive. Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo have a selection of activities including pedalos, jet-skis and big banana and also have shops and bars behind them. The beaches are golden sand and gently sloping so great for paddling and swimming.
Golf
The Golf Club at Costa Teguise is about an hours drive away. It's an 18 hole course open all year. Trolleys, electric buggies and clubs are all available to hire.
Travel
Arrecife airport is about 30 minutes drive away. There is a ferry terminal in the harbour opposite Casas del Sol where the ferry goes to and from nearby Fuerteventura.nCar hire is not essential as Casas del Sol is in the heart of Playa Blanca only a couple of minutes walk from the village with it's pedestrianised main street, shops, restaurants and beach. We would recommend car hire to see more of this beautiful island.
Further details
There are several supermarkets in the village as well as several ATM machines and banks. There is a nice childrens playground and also several interesting shops where you can buy clothing, gifts and perfume. Playa Blanca has a wide variety of restaurants and a good choice of bars. The evening's entertainment would involve a good meal, a stroll along the promenade and a drink. Playa Blanca is family oriented and definitely not for clubbers. A couple of bars have live music or karaoke and a couple of bars show sporting events.
Booking notes
We take payment by cheque and ask for a deposit of 30% of the total holiday cost or full payment if booked within 8 weeks of travel. Balances are due 2 months before travel.

We thought it was very well furnished and equipped,kept spotlessly clean and situated in such a good position both for the swiming pool and for access to the town.
I would just like to say what a fantastic holiday we had in 31a Casas del Sol Sept 14th -28th (Bowman and Knights).
We all enjoyed ourselves and the villas was perfect for the four off us. Norman and I enjoyed it so much we have already booked to go next year. Would recommend Playa Blanca and the resort to anyone.

I currently live in North London with my other half and 2 lovely school age girls.
I first visited Playa Blanca 23 years ago and have been nearly every year since! My children have been every year since they were born.
I used to wonder why people kept going back to the same place year after year, but having discovered Playa Blanca and now that I have children, I understand why. Our villas really are homes from home and on safe, beautiful complexes just a short stroll from the beaches shops and restaurants.
Happy children means a happy, stress free holiday!
