Flexible. Most UK flights are on a Thursday.
Villa will be available on day of arrival by 15:00.

Notes on accommodation
In addition to the private, heated pool, there is also a very large communal pool very close by if you are in the mood for a more ambitious swim. We are able to rent quality cots, playpens and high chairs locally to ensure the comfort and safety of your little ones during your holiday.

Accessibility
The villa is on a single level and there is access via the front door and also from the large parking bay, via a gate directly on to the terrace at the rear of the property.
Outside
The private electrically heated pool measures 8m x 4m x 1.8m deep. The terrace boasts quality sunbeds with quality cushions. There is plenty of room for sunbathing and the property is totally enclosed by a volcanic rock wall.
There is also a huge communal pool only 200 metres away which is also for our guest's use.
Coast/Beach
The immediate coastline is rugged and rocky. It is 5-10 minutes walk to the coast where you will be greeted by a fabulous block paved promenade. This has to be the best place on the island for watching the sun go down.
The nearest beach is Playa Flamingo which is about 3.5Km away. Playa Flamingo beach is completely sheltered and an ideal place for the childrean to play whilst adults relax. Playa Blanca boasts a small beach and beyond that, the fabulous secluded beaches of Papagayo.
Golf
Nearest golf course is at ueto del Carmen, approximately 25Km.
The Playa Blanca course (under construction) will be finished in 2013 and is 1km from Casa Bocayna.
Travel
Airport 35Km - Arrecife.
Car Hire recommended or we can arrange door-to-door airport transfers for you if you prefer.

About the owner
Gill and Kevin were married in July 1981.
Kevin works in IT sales and Gill looks after Kevin and the house.
We like to travel but have a particular affinity with Lanzarote.
We like good food and quality wine, both of which are offered in abundance in Lanzarote.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We wanted a holiday home and Lanzarote was the obvious choice because of our love for the island and the fact that it enjoys good weather all year round.
Having travelled to every corner of the island, Playa Blanca was the obvious choice as it is such a peaceful location.
The villas in this development are of a far superior build quality than any other we have seen.
Having purchased our first property in Playa Blanca in 2002, we decided that we would like to purchase another property as a long-term investment and naturally chose the same area.
Unique benefits of the property
La Goleta is a residential area with many villas being permanently lived in by the owners. Consequently, the area offers a truly relaxing atmosphere.
This really is our home from home and the furnishings and gardens reflect this fact.
We have bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and many more a little further afield.
There is an excellent local bus service that runs 7 days per week, every half hour from before 07:00 to after 22:00 so it really is a location you can go and chill out in without the hassle of a car.
