El Refugio is a 2 bedroom penthouse apartment situated on the first floor of a peaceful road on the prestigeous championship golf course. The apartment is just 10 minutes from the airport - we can arrange meet and greet by our apartment manager. The all year round sunshine can be enjoyed on our private roof terrace and meals enjoyed outside on our large private balcony. Situated 2 mins from the 5 star Elba Palace Hotel and Golf Course where the free coach runs to the town and beach throughout the day and evening. The apartment consists of a large private roof terrace, large balcony, sitting/dining room, fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine, 4 piece bathroom suite, double master bedroom and a twin bedroom. The apartment also benefits from a shared swimming pool with private key access for residents only, seperate children's pool and 24 hour manned security. We have UK TV channels. Our roof terrace has stunning views of the mountains behind and to the sea.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Every week including Bank holidays and school holidays are the same price.
Changeover day
Flexible except during school summer holidays when bookings are taken Saturday to Saturday.

Notes on accommodation
There are tiled floors throughout the apartment. The apartment benefits from a shared pool across the road with key access for residents only, 24 hour manned security and a courtesy coach that runs to the beach and town approx 0.5km away.
Accessibility
The apartment is first floor and accessed by a double flight of stairs.
Outside
There is a large balcony with views across the 18th fairway, dining table and chairs and swing hammock seats. Blinds have been fitted to the open aspects which can be rolled down to create a breeze free area without spoiling the views. The private roof terrace with access from the apartment only, has spectacular views across the golf course to the sea and the mountains behind, where you can watch some stunning sunsets. There are sunloungers and side tables - a perfect place to perfect that all over tan in private. There is an outside shared swimming pool and children's paddling pool across the road from the apartment set in its own landscape gardens with key access for residents only. There are changing rooms, toilets, sun lougers and sun brollies.
Coast/Beach
Horseshoe Bay is a child friendly man made lagoon situated in Caleta de Fuste, approx 0.5km from the apartment a 10-15 minute walk or a 2 minute drive or ride on the free coach from outside the hotel. There are over 100 beaches to visit in Fuerteventura including the famous sand dunes in Corralejo and the 25km Sotavento beach.
Golf
The Elba Palace Hotel Championship Golf Course is a 2 minute walk from the apartment where there is a 40 bay driving range and a pro shop where you can hire golf clubs and buggies.
Travel
Fuerteventura airport is approx 10 mins from the apartment - we can arrange meet and greet from the airport for 25 euros return. There are direct flights from most UK airports by many airlines, including Ryanair, Thomsons, Thomas Cook and First Choice. Car hire is not essential as there is a courtesy coach that runs to and from the beach and town from the Elba Palace Hotel, 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

Airport 10 minutes. Beach - 2 minutes by car / 10-15 minutes walk. Golf - apartment situated right on the golf course.
Shops and restaurants - 2 minutes by car/10-15 minutes walk. Pool - across the road.
Further details
Caleta de Fuste has a large, white sandy beach, a marina and the town offers a fantastic range of restaurants and bars. The Atlantico Centre behind the beach has a large Spar supermarket, bank, restaurants and takeaways and a range of designer shops as well as 10 pin bowling, 10 screen cinema and outside children’s play area.
Booking notes
A £100 deposit for a one week holiday or a £200 deposit for a two week holiday is required at the time of booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before you travel.
