The Costa Luz Beach complex is situated in the main part of Puerto del Carmen next to the San Antonio Hotel. Costa Luz has direct access to the Los Pocillos beach (you don't even have to cross the road). The main area of shops, bars and restaurants is only a 3 minute walk from the complex but Costa Luz is far enough away to still be quiet and peaceful. Many apartments have unparalleled seaviews and all enjoy a very pleasant setting amongst the beautiful volcanic gardens.

Notes on accommodation
These apartments are in blocks of six with two apartments per floor on three floors (ground middle and top floor). We have different categories of apartments in Costa Luz, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom standard, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom standard, 2 bedroom 2 bathroom superior and superior front block apartments. Accessibility
Being beach side, Costa Luz is very flat. It is also very central, so this could be a good location for people who have mobility problems. We have some ground floor apartments, so there are no stairs. Please call us for more information and always mention that you have mobility problems, so we can advise on which apartment is best suited to your needs.
Outside
Costa Luz Beach boasts a large, heated swimming pool surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The entrance to the pool is by roman steps at the shallow end and a ladder at the deep end. There are showers by the pool for rinsing off or cooling down. The pool area's surroundings and the grounds in general are beautiful, mature volcanic gardens full of palm trees, cacti, tropical plants and flowers. Winding garden paths lead from each apartment, through the gardens to the edge of the beach. Los Pocillos beach is more than a mile long and is safe and clean with crystal clear waters, perfect for swimming or simply relaxing and soaking up the sun.
Coast/Beach
The complex is on the beach. You have direct access to the beach front promenade.
Golf
There are 2 golf courses on Lanzarote. The first is 'Golf de Costa Teguise', it is an 18 hole par 72 course and is 20 minutes drive from Puerto del Carmen. There is also a brand new Golf course in Puerto del Carmen, it is 2 minutes drive (or a decent walk!) from this property and has received rave reviews from those that have already played there. Although the clubhouse is not finished yet, the course in great condition, the views are great and you can hire clubs, buggies etc.
Travel
The airport is 10-15 minutes by car. Taxis are about 15 euros.

Shops and restaurants are within 1-2 minutes walk.
Further details
These apartments are very central and in close proximity to all amenities, yet they are very quiet and peaceful. Being on the edge of the beach, the area is flat and convenient for both young children and elderly people alike. We have our own reception on site and the receptionist will be pleased to help you with any questions you may have.
Booking notes
Deposits are £80 per week for the 1 bedroom apartments and £120 per week or part week for the two bedroom apartments with the balance due 9 weeks before you go. Hi Sophie, the holiday was fabulous. The apartments were lovely, exactly as described and the location on the beach was tremendous. The apartments were clean and spacious. During our 11 night stay we had 3 cleans and towel changes and the receptionist was always happy to help. Would definitely recommend and have done to friends (you should be getting bookings shortly). No fighting for beds at the pool either!! Fantastic holiday.

About the owner
We are 3 brothers who started going to Lanzarote in 1980. Over the years we have grown to love Lanzarote and have adopted this beautiful island as our home. There is always at least one of us in Lanzarote looking after our properties there, and one or 2 of us in England looking after the bookings. We have many guests still coming back with us from the early 80’s and we are very proud to be able to boast a repeat and recommended clientele rate of over 80%. Over the years we have grown our portfolio and offer an excellent selection of accommodation to suit all requirements. We also own apartments on the Island of Sal in the Cape Verde Islands. The beautiful weather, relaxed atmosphere, diverse water sports and friendly locals persuaded us that this would be a wonderful place to holiday.
