Part of the property is a self contained apartment (not included when you are a party of 8 persons or less). Notes on accommodation
The pool has a wall around and a gate for safety reasons. If you are travelling with a baby we have a cot and high chair in the villa. The villa is for parties of up to 8 people, the apartment is only available for larger booking or at an extra cost.
Accessibility
The villa entrance is about a 10 meter walk from the car on an incline, so may present a challenge for those with walking difficulties.
Outside
The pool is private and is approx 3x7 metres and is heated. The terrace is large with dining table ans sun loungers. There is also a BBQ. Drying rack.
Coast/Beach
A 5 min car drive or 25 min walk takes you down to a beautiful little beach called 'Flamingo beach'. This beach is absolutely perfect for families with young children. Golden sand, rock pools and loads of sea like make this beach a big hit with the kids and parents! There are also some shops and restaurants by the beach that provide everything you need for the day. There are many other fantastic beaches within a short driving distance.
Golf
There are two 18 hole golf courses on the island, both within about half an hour drive. The one in Puerto Del Carmen is relatively new. The one in Costa Teguise has been established for many years. Seve Ballesteros apparently has said that it is one of the best courses that he has played.
Special interest holidays
Diving is Playa Blanca is apparently fantastic with visibility up to 40 meters and an incredible array of sea life. There are many diving schools here for the novice and pro.Horse riding, water sports, walking and biking.
The villa is situated on Montana Roja and there is lots of lovely places to go for long walks.
Travel
Car hire is recommended but not essential if you are only adults, but essential if you have children. The beach and town centre are about 5 minutes drive. To walk would take about 20-25 minutes. Arrecife airport is about 30 minutes by car.
Distances
15 minute walk to the nearest Supermercado for fresh milk and bread. It's around 3km to the nearest beach, 4km to Playa Blanca town, and old port and around 6km to the new marina. Lanzarote is a small Island so you can easily drive to the other side of the Island in a couple of hours. It's perfect to rent a car so you easily can travel and see all the beautiful places!
Further details
Lanzarote is a island with masses to do so you will always be occupied. If you are a beach person then there are really amazing beaches here. If you are not a beach person then there places like the Timanfaya national park to visit as well as the amazing works of art by Cesar Manrique, Lanzarotes world famous artist.

A deposit of 20% is payable at time of booking and the other 80% payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.

We have owned our home in Lanzarote for about 5 years and been coming here for over 10. We love the island.
The best time for us is when we can come here with our two children and relax.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We fell in love with the villa and it's location the moment we saw it. We were staying with friends nearby and felt that we wanted a house in the same area.
The villa is away from the centre so offers real peace and relaxation which is exactly what we want. At the same time it's no real distance to activities and night life if we feel for it.
