The only 5 bedroom 3 bathroom villa on the increasingly popular Playa Vista plot we believe our villa offers great flexibility to guests who enjoy the freedom of choice. The upper floor can be used in isolation by a couple or small family who want the space they do not necessarily enjoy at home. This floor has 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room. For larger parties both floors can be utilised to give accommodation to as many as 12 people as this floor has 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite) and another living room with sofa-beds. From the front of Villa Gulshan the unhindered views of the Atlantic and the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura are stunning and play out in front of you like your favourite Oscar winning movie. From the kitchen the views of Montana Roja also help to give the villa a unique feel.

We will always do our best to be flexible to enable our guests to get the best from their stay.

Bedrooms: Bedrooms 1 and 5 have double beds - bedrooms 2 ,3 and 4 with twin beds.
The downstairs living/games room has sofa beds which gives capacity for 2 more guests. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, wardrobes etc.
Bathrooms: Bedroom 5 benefits from an en-suite shower room.
There are two further bathrooms one on each floor.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with granite work surface and modern appliances. Sea views to the front and mountain views to the side/back. Kitchen doors lead directly to the upper terrace for outside dining , there is no need to leave the villa for days at a time.
Living Rooms: The upstairs living room has TV/DVD and sea views and leads directly onto the upper terrace. The downstairs living/games room has TV/DVD, Playstation 2. There is also has an CD player and IPOD docking station so that guests can choose their own music.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bath and beach towels are provided for guests. Cleaning, towel and linens changes are are made once a week. The villa must be vacated at 10am on the departure date and is available from 4pm on the arrival date.

Notes on accommodation
Villa Gulshan has a Playstation 2 in the downstairs living/games room we also have numerous CD's/DVD'S , books and an iPod docking station.

Accessibility
The upper floor is accessible by guests in wheelchairs.

Outside
Outside dining is catered for by dining table and chairs on both terraces and a large barbecue on the upper terrace.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Playa Gorda which is two minutes walk which has a terrific beach bar from the villa the are other beaches within a 20minute walk or the famous Papagayo Beaches are a ten minute drive away.

Golf
The are two golf courses on the island both are 30 minutes drive from from the villa - at Costa Teguise and Tias.

Special interest holidays
Locally there is a diving school which offers free trials in its large glass-fronted tank. Some of the best restaurants on the Ilsand are a short walk from the villa next to a stunning beach bar.

Travel
There is only one airport in Lanzarote and it is a very direct 30 minute drive from Playa Blanca. The route takes in many lovely mountain and sea views.

Distances
The villa is in a quiet development 5 minutes drive from the centre of town where you can get a ferry to Feurteventura using the regular service. There is a regular bus service into town or a cab will cost c.5euros.

Further details
The sea is 2 minutes walk from this small gated development. Straightaway you come to a small beach (Playa Gorda) and a small snack bar selling hot and cold beverages etc. After this you can walk the length of Playa Blanca next to sea the whole way. Within 5 minutes you come to a small group of restaurants, bars and shops and a well known diving with another beach in front. To the right of villa a 5 minute walk will bring you to a group of shops including two mini-markets an excellent patisserie a couple of bars and restaurants.

Booking notes
Price is based on 4 people sharing , extra guests are charged at £100 per person. 25% deposit secures any booking with the remainder due 8 weeks prior to the holiday. Villa is available from 4pm on arrival day and must be vacated by 10am on departure day. A welcome pack is provided for guests which includes wine, coffee etc.

hi stu i would like to thank you for the use of your villa for the first two weeks in july ,it was a fantastic villa that suited our needs, the two sitting rooms kept the young and old sperated adequatly ha ha . it was very spacious so as big as the group was, we were not living in each others pockets the welcome packet ws great ,. the pool was beautiful .any problem that arose which were very few may i add ,it was great to know that you were on the end of a phone call ,the service was great . once again thank you it was a pleasure dealing with you and i hope to talk to you again in the future regards caroline gourley.

About the owner
We are a busy London couple who like to escape to our second home Lanzarote as often as possible and hope that guests get as much from this terrific little island as we do.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We fell in love with Lanzarote on our first trip 9 years ago, before the week was over we had decided to buy a villa there! For us Playa Blanca offers just the right blend of Spanish/English culture for you to feel it is a home from home. Not far from Playa are some truly beautiful villages including Yaiza which has been voted the prettiest village in the whole of Spain around 4 years on the trot. For a small island there is lots to see and many outstanding features and perfect for 'explorers' like us there are the famous Papagayo beaches the volcanoes..... Many of our guests return to the Island as it is so easy to get hooked on.

Unique benefits of the property
It never ceases to amaze me how many misconceptions there are about the island of Lanzarote. Yes, the resort of Puerto Del Carmen is very lively but then this is a necessary evil for anywhere with tourism the main industry. No, for me there is a different Lanzarote the one makes people (like me) that come back again and again. Our guests come in two forms, those that are island veterans and know the worth of a stay at our villa and those who are first-timers who I wager will become veterans themselves in time. There is a certain magic that the Island possesses that just doesn't seem to exist in Tenerife or even Fuerteventura. Playa Blanca itself is by reputation the best laid out of all the resorts ie you can walk from one end to the other all along the sea (9km).
