The house is prepared for children to enjoy too. Not only because of the pool but because of its large garden and its wide terrace.

Lanzarote is an island which offers a great variety of leisure activities. Within the places to visit yo cannot miss the Timanfaya National Park, Los Jameos del Agua, La Cueva de Los Verdes, La Geria with its wine cellars, the small island of La Graciosa, The Cesar Manrique Foundation, its beautiful beaches, etc. If you are planning to come with kids we recommend you to visit Aquapark, Rancho Texas, Puerto Calero´s submarine, boat rides (Catamaran), Guinate Park and others.

The villa is located in a calm and centric area of Guime. 10 minutes away from the airport by car. 15 minutes away from the capital (Arrecife). 15 minutes away from Puerto del Carmen, touristic and leisure place, where you will find nice beaches and the best night life. 15 minutes away from Tías Golf Court. 20 minutes away from the Costa Teguise Golf Court and 5 minutes away from the supermarket.

Within sport-like activities, you can choose from golf, surf, scuba diving, horse ridding, camel ridding, to sailing, go-karting, fishing, tracking, water skiing and many more.
Throughout the island there is a wide range of restaurants, where you will not only try Canarian local food, but international food too.
On the other hand, if what you want is enjoying Lanzarote´s nightlife, we recommend you to visit all the bars and pubs along Puerto del Carmen´s main street, right next to the sea.
One last tip, do not miss Teguise's Sunday market you won't regret it!

“Extremely nice, clean, quiet and peaceful villa, with great views to the sea. We spent a fabulous week just bbq'ing and hanging out around the pool. Close to the airport, the beach and the supermarket, with easy access to make your way throughout the island. The only bad thing was actually having to leave! I give it a "10"”

Hi, I'm Mapi Martinez, I'm a nurse and I currently work as a nursing teacher in the Universidad de las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). I'm married to Tino and I have two kids: Luis, 20, and Paula who is 16 years old. We also have a dog called Tara, this is where the house name comes from. In Gran Canaria, Tara is the name of the goddess of fertility.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
This house is where our children grew up. We lived in this house for 14 years, and then because of our children growing up and family circumstances, we had to move to Gran Canaria and we decided to rent the house.
