Beautiful, well equipped 2 bedroom apartment with balcony in the peaceful town of Costa Del Silencio. Stunning views of Mount Teide from balcony. Easy access to Golf De Sur which is only 3-4 miles away and 3 championship golf courses. Las Americas and Adeje golf courses are a 15-25 minute drive. There are Mizuno (RH) golf clubs in the apartment which can be used. The nearest airport is Reina Sofia (Tenerife South). A taxi will cost around €20 from the airport to the apartment. 'Loro Parque' in the North of Tenerife is about an hours drive away and is a fascinating attraction with many birds and animals in a beautiful natural environment and also boasts the worlds largest penguinarium. Another popular tourist destination is the most spectacular water park in Europe-'Siam Park' which is around a 10 minute drive from Silencio. Airport transfers (door to door with English speaking driver) can be arranged. The apartment has been newly decorated.

Changeover day
We aim to be as flexible as possible. Apartment should be vacated by 10am on day of departure - arrangements can be made for safe storage of luggage.

Accessibility
Costa Del Silencio is a flat area of Tenerife and therefore excellent for walking as there are no large inclines. Smoking permitted on Balcony only. The apartment itself is a 1st floor apartment which is reached by about 12 steps so is not suitable for wheelchair access.
Outside
This is a secure gated complex with access to 3 swimming pools one of which is suitable for small children/infants. Safe children's play area with swings climbing frames slides etc. Tennis court. (Racquets and balls available in apartment) Atlantico complex also now boasts a small gym and a table tennis table - access, as with the swimming area, is with a secure "smart-card" which is provided for a small deposit. An underground car parking space is available should you decide to hire a car.
Fresh drinking water is available on site which saves you having to carry back from the super market!
Coast/Beach
The sea is about a 5 minute walk with good fishing from the rocks at Montana Amarilla (Yellow Mountain).There is a beautiful protected area for scuba and/or skin diving here too. Sunbathing platforms have recently been constructed on the rocks (take air beds to lie on) and ladders into the sea have been erected for bathing in the beautiful sapphire-blue Atlantic. There is a very small beach at the Las Galletas end of Silencio which is usually very quiet - we can provide "explorers" a local map.
Golf
There is easy access to 5 local golf courses, Amarilla Bay and Golf Del Sur are about a 10-15 min drive. Los Palos is a 9 hole par 3 course about a 10 minute drive away (great for short game practice!) this course is eco friendly and has no problems with beginners and /or kids - lunch is pretty good too! Las Americas and Adeje golf are 20-25 mins from the apartment. There are a set of Mizuno golf clubs (right handed) and a half set of Junior clubs. There are also a pair of size nine and ten shoes in the apartment for your use. We have contacts in local golfing societies at Adeje and Amarillo Golf Clubs if a light-hearted, competitive game is sought.
Travel
Nearest airport is Reina Sofia (Tenerife South) which is around 15-20 minutes away. We can arrange all transfers, car hire, trips from a local english speaking contact who is extremely reliable. Buses run approx every 30 mins to the larger towns of Los Cristianos and Las Americas around €1.30 per person.
Distances
Las Galletas is a 5 minute drive away or 15 minute walk.
There are some excellent restaurants on the beach front. Los Cristianos and Las Americas are a 15-20 minute drive away and there is a large selection of shops/restaurants/bars and nightlife. The water park 'Siam Park' and the ever popular 'Loro Parque' are popular with tourists. Our on site contacts can help with advice on trips.
Further details
Several large supermarkets are within walking distance of the complex with Hermusa being the best and cheapest and only a 5 minute stroll away. Deliveries of a variety of take-away meals are available if you fancy a quiet night in watching TV, DVD's or listening to music and there are a selection of take-away menus in the apartment.
Booking notes
Non-refundable deposits of £50 are payable within 7 days of reservation. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to your departure date. Door to door airport transfers can be arranged at this time. Keys to the apartment will be handed over by our airport transfer driver or on-site contact who will also show you round the apartment.
