Luxurious 1 bedroom newly refurbished apartment, with stunning 180 degree views of the harbour, sea and the island of Fuerteventura. Modern and bright apartment with a balcony overlooking the harbour with 180 degree sea views. It has a quiet, safe, secure yet convenient location just minutes from the shopping centre, restaurants and bars. It comes with its own communal swimming pool, terraces and ample sun loungers for you to soak up the sun all day! Or a 5 minutes walk to the beach. The complex is well situated in the Old Town and is a 3 minute walk away from the harbour restaurants, bars and shops. The main beach is 10 minutes walk and a smaller beach 5 minute walk. All water sports are catered for and a ferry leaves each day from the harbour to Fuerteventura and one to the marina at Port Calero. In the harbour you can take part in boat trips, diving, dolphin and whale spotting, fishing, sailing submarine safari and all water sports are catered for here.

Changeover day
Thursday is the normal change over day but we are flexible with the dates as much as possible.

Outside
This is a fabulous newly renovated 1 bed apartment situated in the Old Town of Peurto del Carmen. It is situated in a lovely development with communal pool and yet only 10 minutes from the airport by taxi (cost €15) and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Large communal pool with ample sun loungers (no charge). A very nice sun trap with the sun all day from am to pm, pool side bar, with all day snacks. There is also a pool table. Suits couples and families with teenagers. Enjoy fine views from the pool area down over the harbor and across the water towards Fuerteventura. Supermarkets within a minutes walk. Apartments enjoy stunning sea views, down over the harbor and across the water towards Fuerteventura. Shops, restaurants etc. within 2 min walk, local supermarkets and restaurants within 100 yards of complex.
Coast/Beach
The main sandy beach in Lanzarote is located approx 5 minutes walk away. Very clean with beach beds etc. The beach is approx 3-4 km long with beautiful walks, from apartment.
Golf
The eighteen hole, 72 par course is 6,133 metres long just outside Puerto del Carmen and was designed by the well-known American golf course designer, Ron Kirby. The courses were designed by the world’s best, resulting in outstanding quality. Its location on the hills overlooking Puerto del Carmen gives it the incredible backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and the course itself is planted with numerous mature palm trees and other indigenous plants. Golf course sits at the feet of the island’s volcanoes with unbeatable views of the Atlantic Ocean. Anyone can enjoy golfing in Lanzarote at prices to suit. Travel
Arrecife airport is a 15 minute drive and costs 15 euros by taxi. Car hire is not necessary. One can tour the island by coach or you can hire a car for approximately €30 per day either at the airport or in Puerto del Carmen, on either a daily or weekly basis.
Distances
5 minute walk to local fishing harbour, main shopping centre or the main strip with lively bars and restaurants. Marina at Puerto Calero, Fire Mountains, Timanfaya National Park, Underground Lagoons at Jameos Del Agua and Los Verdes Caverns. Arrecife, Teguise market and shops are all within a short drive. Apartment overlooks harbour, really effective at night.
Further details
Like many places in Lanzarote, Puerto del Carmen was originally a small fishing village, and the old harbour is still a delightful place to visit, boasting some excellent seafood restaurants. Although the resort has grown over the last twenty years — it now stretches along the whole 6km of golden sandy beaches — the town has been saved from the high-rise buildings that blight so many other destinations due to the strict planning restrictions. What people say -
the resort certainly has most of the things that any holiday maker requires and according to the Ayuntamiento (Council) of Tias: surveys conducted among the ever-increasing amount of visitors report satisfaction levels between 85 and 90 per cent. If sun and sea are your thing, then the 6km stretch of golden beaches — washed by the waters of the Atlantic — should be enough to tempt you. All of the beaches fly the Blue Flag — awarded by the EEC — for cleanliness and lack of contamination. The surrounding waters are considered to be some of the most tranquil in the Canary Islands, they are excellent for Swimming and other water sports. Sports - many sports are available here, both on land and in the water. There are a number of diving schools and windsurfing centres in Puerto del Carmen, if you fancy taking up one of these exhilarating sports. For the more energetic amongst you; swimming, cycling and running are also very popular, with various bike hire shops along the main beach promenade. The Lanzarote Iron Man triathlon, which is a major international athletics event, starts and finishes on the Avenida de Las Playas, lending an air of excitement to the resort every May/June. As benefits such a Mecca for tourists, there are a wealth of shopping opportunities available, whether you want to peruse the tourist offerings of the main Beach Avenue or fancy something a bit more upmarket in the new Biosfera shopping complex and duty free electronics equipment.
