Quietly nestled on Chipmunk Mountain just a short way from local bar/restaurants and shops and 10 minutes walk from town where there are many shops, bars and restaurants.

Notes on prices
The villa has generous space available so we let in two parts to give smaller parties the benefit a this lovely villa. £300 per 7 nights is based on a 2/4 occupancy using ground floor double and twin bedrooms with shared bathroom. This still gives full use of all terraces. For 5/6 full occupancy or to book the full house £400 per 7 nights to include first floor kingsize bedroom and ensuite. For any other occupancy information, please do not hesitate to contact the owner.

Changeover day
Preferred changeover days are Wednesday or Saturday. Arrival day is a 2pm access and departure day is a 11am vacation time. Alternative arrangements can often be made with prior discussion.

Bedrooms: Bed 1: king size bed with French doors and views to golf course.
Bed 2: double bed.
Bed 3: twin beds.
All rooms are light and airy with spacious wardrobes, full length mirrors, bedside tables and lamps, ceiling fans.
Bathrooms: Bathroom en-suite to bedroom 1 with bath/shower over, wc, bidet.
Family bathroom with bath/shower over, bidet, wc.
Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen with 4 ceramic ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and a good selection of pans and kitchen utensils.
Utility Room: Washing machine and daily cleaning items mops, ironing board etc.
Living Rooms: The sunny lounge has two comfy recliners, corner sofa. Relax with TV/DVD/radio and selection of DVDs to watch. The separate dining room, useful in cooler months, has an extending table, 6 chairs and a crockery cupboard.
Other: Three sunny terraces encourage outside living, barbecue and sun bathing. A private roof terrace gives views to picturesque Caleta harbour and sandy beach.

linen/maid service:
All linen, bath/hand/pool (not beach) towels are provided. The house is cleaned prior to occupation. Mid holiday cleans and laundry change can be provided on request at a small additional charge.

The swimming pool is securely gated for the benefit of young children.

Accessibility
There is a small step into the house over which a wooden slope is fitted to give wheelchair access through sliding patio doors. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor. Please advise on booking if wheelchair access is required.

Outside
Three sunny terraces, 2 ground floor and 1 large first floor with views to the sandy beach and harbour, gives plenty of space for alfresco living with a BBQ, sunbeds and range of outdoor furniture. The shared pool is securely gated 50 yards from the house, just out of earshot. There is a kiddies paddling pool available at the house. Private roof terrace.

Coast/Beach
Appox 2km (10 min walk or 5 mins on the little train) to lovely sandy beaches and Caleta harbour. There are coastal walks to neighbouring villages and bays that have small restaurants serving local catch of the day.

Golf
5 minutes by car or taxi takes you to two excellent golf courses, one championship.

Travel
Puerto del Rosario airport is only 10 minutes away by bus or taxi and we can arrange a meet and greet. An excellent bus service travels up and down the island, 10 mins walk to nearest stop. There is a little tractor train to take you from the mountain to town and the harbour. Car hire is readily available, though not essential, if you want to get out and about and there are many beautiful and interesting places to visit.

Distances
Caleta town is 10 min walk or 5 min on the little train. The capital Puerto del Rosario (15 mins by car/taxi/bus) has large indoor shopping centre and many places of historical interest, theatre and bar/restaurants. Correlejo is 45 mins by car, from here you can take the 20 min ferry to Lanzorote. The island has many villages with ancient churches telling the history of Fuerteventura and it's inhabitants.

Further details
In Caleta town, just 10 mins walk, you will find banks, a comprehensive variety of eateries offering food from around the world. In the harbour there are jet ski, Catamaran trips, Submarine and Ocean Centre. Fuerteventura boasts superb scuba and Deep Blue Diving Centre in Caleta offers twice daily guided diving, full open water training is available. Atlantico shopping centre is 2km to the south of Caleta and here you will find superb meat, fish and fresh vegetables together with clothing, jewellery and souvenir stores. All along the coast there are a variety of water sport opportunities to include wind and kite surfing.

A deposit of £100 is required at time of booking and the balance is payable not less than 8 weeks prior to booking date.

Hi Linda, Martin, we have just returned from what is our third time on Montana Mar and once again find ourselves saying that was the best holiday ever. We just love the house and the privacy it affords. The local hostelry offers great food and drink with entertainment, we don't hire a car and find getting around easy by cab and bus.
