The apartment is situated on a quiet residential complex in an ideal location, adjacent to a selection of cafes, bars, baker's, bank and taxi rank. The BAKU family theme park, market and water park is close by (approx 50m). The town centre and beach of Corralejo are within easy reach (approx 800m). The stunning white sand flag beaches and sand dunes of the national park are well worth a visit and approximately 1.5km away.

Coast/Beach
The town beach of Corralejo (approx 800m away) is ideal for families as it's clean, safe, sheltered and surrounded by restaurants (hence toilets).

Flag Beach (approx 1km away), by the two Riu hotels is one of the best places to try water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. The beach is absolutely stunning and stretches for 7km and onto the spectacular sand dunes.

Travel
Fuerteventura Airport (approximately 35 minute drive away). Taxis operate outside the airport and complex.

Car hire optional.

There are two buses that you can take to reach the complex (No.3 bus from Fuerteventura airport to Puerto del Rosario and then the No.6 bus to Corralejo town).

If you would like to visit Lanzarote on your holiday, you can have the choice of two ferry crossings, 'Navieras Armas', (cheaper option) and takes approx 25 mins or 'Fred Olson' (20 mins).

Distances
800m to Corralejo town & beach with a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants which lead right down through the music square and on to the harbour which looks across the other side of town & the sand dunes.

50m to the Baku family and water park (Market held there on Mondays and Fridays).

Approximately 1km to flag beach and onto the sand dunes.

There is a Canarian style shopping centre, "El Campanario" just before Corralejo town with musical performances & Sunday market.

On the doorstep of the complex is a selection of bars, cafes shops, car hire, bank and a local patisserie. There is also a taxi service in operation.

As resorts go in the Canary Islands, Corralejo to the north of Fuerteventura is one of the prettiest, especially around the harbour and just south at the beaches fronting the sublime sand dunes which form part of Corralejo Natural Park, a protected area. Although Corralejo is a bustling Fuerteventura holiday resort, the tourism here is not overwhelming and there's a chilled out vibe to this pretty resort. Corralejo's edge might be to do with the fact that it's not just a manmade resort - there's been a thriving fishing industry here for years, plus the pleasent harbour and old town bordering the harbour is a delightful area, crammed with arts and crafts stalls, specialist shops and friendly chic bars. With its own waterpark, the Atlantico Shopping centre (with disabled toilets) tidy promenade and stretch of beach along Avenida Grandes Playas, Corralejo combines good resort facilities with an attractive setting. A please all resort, with a nature park nearby, excellent surfing, diving and sailing and easy access to Lanzarote and Los Lobos Island via the harbour.

"Relaxing holiday"
The apartment has the best location on the complex, close to the entrance, great views overlooking the fantastic pools from the sunny balcony. The apartment is of a very good size, fresh and clean and very well equipped. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend this apartment.

It was home from home and had everything you could need, from cool bags and ice pack for the beach, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and even a washing machine, which was very handy as mine blew up the night before we left for holidays! The apartment was very spacious & very clean. We would certainly recommend this apartment and if we return to Corralejo we would descend on Lisa again. Many thanks for renting it out to us"
