Casa Caldera is a detached villa consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and privately heated pool. The villa is single storey and very spacious. The gardens are totally enclosed including locking gates for child safety and privacy. Situated in the quiet and exclusive Los Mojones area of Puerto del Carmen above the old town and harbour, the best restaurants, bars and shopping centre are only a 10 minute walk. The main beach is a 25 minute walk. The sea and the unique Lanzarote mountains can be seen from the terrace.

Changeover day
Most flights are on a Thursday so our changeover day is normally a Thursday. We are flexible though and will accommodate your needs.

Bedroom 3 has twin beds with fitted wardrobe and an additional folding single bed.
There is a folding travel cot for a baby.
Bathrooms: En suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath, shower, wc, bidet, twin wash basins and Cesar Manrique light well/garden.
Bathroom 2 has bath, shower, wc, bidet, wash basin and Cesar Manrique light well/garden.
Kitchen: Large kitchen with breakfast table & chairs. Granite work surfaces. Halogen hob, extractor, oven/grill, fridge freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher.
Utility Room: Open air but totally private 'solana' area with drying line & rack and washing machine.
Living Rooms: Very large and spacious lounge dining area. TV with DVD and satelite receiver, CD player/radio, suite, dining table and chairs. Archway leads to entrance hall and patio doors lead to pool terrace.

linen/maid service:
British management partners Louise and Tony provide full 24 hour support for complete peace of mind. Weekly maid service for cleaning, replacement of bed linen and towels. Louise is fluent in Spanish and well connected on the island.

Notes on accommodation
Travel cot, highchair are available. Bring your own bedding for the cot please. A child buggy is available on request. A security safe and hairdryer are provided.

Accessibility
The villa is well suited for wheelchair access.
Single step to get into the property. No stairs and the passages are wide for manouvering. Doorways are accessible with standard wheelchair. Pool and patio are also very accessible.

Outside
Fully enclosed gardens with locking gates and intercom (very safe for children). Large private tiled sun bathing area. 6 seater outdoor dining table and chairs. Gas barbecue. 6 loungers with covers and small tables.
Private heated pool including underwater lighting (for your exclusive use). Off road car parking.

Coast/Beach
The coast is a 10 minute walk. The main Puerto del Carmen beach (Playa Blanca) is a 25 minute walk.

Golf
Golf course is 10 minutes drive.

Special interest holidays
Good scuba diving is available from the island.

Travel
Arrecife airport is a 10 minute drive from the villa so a car is not essential unless you wish to explore the island.
Note, aircraft are never heard at the villa.

Distances
Puerto del Carmen old town is a 10 minute walk where the best shops, restaurants and the harbour can be found.
The main town is 15 minutes walk away. The very exclusive marina at Puerto Calero is 2km away and has shops and restaurants. Arrecife is Lanzarote's main city and is a 15 minute drive where all the major shops and department stores are found.

Booking notes
A £150 deposit received by us within 1 week of making the reservation means the booking is firm and a confirmation will be sent to you by email or post. Full payment is required 10 weeks prior to your holiday.

Thank you so much for letting us rent your villa - it is a great villa, the photo's don't really do it justice.

The whole villa was fantastic and really well equipped, it was beautifully clean and obviously well cared for.

The Welcome Pack was also greatly appreciated - we arrived on Christmas afternoon and had been worried that the shops might be closed but the pack meant we could relax until the next day - a very thoughtful touch.

I had been a little nervous about possible road noise but I can honestly say that we never heard it, it is in a very quiet area.

The views are lovely too, it was great to stand at the kitchen window and look out to the sparkling sea in the distance.

Once again thank you for letting us rent your villa and when we next go back to Lanzarote I know that we will be checking to see if it is available.
