Casa de las Hermanas is a beautiful 'homely' villa on a private estate in Montana Roja, Playa Blanca. It provides ample space for the perfect family holidays. This tranquil area is 15 mins walk to the beach and Playa Blanca town centre. From the first floor terrace, you can enjoy fantastic sea, mountain and island views towards Los Lobos and Fuerteventura. The villa consists of a spacious lounge, breakfast room and dining area furnished with comfortable leather sofas. For your added comfort, you'll find a flat screen TV in the lounge, Sky TV, MP3 Ipod System, CD and DVD. There is also broadband WIFI for wireless internet access. The south facing gardens boast an array of mature Cacti and tropical plants. There is a heated swimming pool with integrated children's paddling pool (not overlooked), a barbecue, plenty of patio space for sunbathing plus shaded alfresco dining area. There is parking behind electric gates.

We require a 50% deposit to secure your booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before your holiday commences. We have special rates for bookings longer than 2 weeks.

Changeover day
Preferably Thursdays however, we are flexible if enough notice is given. Check out time is 10am. Check in time 3pm.

Kitchen: Country cottage styled kitchen with granite top, oven, separate grill, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, stainless steel pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses.
Living Rooms: Neutrally decorated lounge, overlooking pool. 3 leather sofas, double sofa bed, dining table with 6 chairs, soft lighting. Breakfast room. Sky TV, MP3 Ipod System, CD and DVD and wireless Internet. (Please bring your own wireless enabled computer)

Notes on accommodation
The double aspect breakfast room and master bedroom both have French doors leading out the the garden and pool. The villa comes equipped with every home comfort to ensure you and your family have a relaxing holiday. As well as Sky TV, DVD. There is an Mp3/ Ipod powered speaker system and Wireless internet access. An iron and ironing board are provided as is a freestanding fan and hairdryer. And we also provide a travel cot and high chair at no extra cost but you will need to bring your own cot linen. There are a good selection of board games, playing cards and children's' toys. We insist our guests don't smoke inside the villa, however smoking is allowed outside. We don't accept bookings for stag or hen parties.

Accessibility
The property has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor so is partially accessible to guests in wheelchairs.

Outside
There is a very large private heated swimming pool with integrated children's pool. In addition there's ample patio area for sunbathing and a shaded dining area with a table and four chairs. There's a built in barbecue also.

Coast/Beach
Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorada are 15 minutes walk, 5 mins drive. Papagayo is a 10 minute drive and has a 3 euros entry charge as it is a protected area.

Golf
There is a new 18 hole course at Tias where all equipment can be hired. (15-20 min drive). There is also an 18 hole golf course at Costa Teguise.

Travel
Arrecife airport is approximately 40 minutes drive. Renting a car gives you the ultimate freedom to explore this beautiful island but a car is not essential. There's plenty to see on foot and taxis are in abundance. There is a regular scheduled bus service to Arrecife with connections to other towns. Details of bus timetables and many excursions are provided in the villa. Playa Blanca port is nearby and you can take a day trip to Fuerteventura which is about 30 minutes on the ferry.

Distances
Nearest supermarket: 5 minutes. Playa Blanca village: 15 mins walk or a 5 mins drive. Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorada are 15 minutes walk, 5 mins drive.

Further details
There are many attraction worth visiting: Teguise Sunday Market, Timanfaya National Park (Fire Mountain), Jardin de Cactus (The Cactus Garden), Cueva de Los Verdes (Green Caves), Jameos del Agua, El golfo, wine tasting in La Geria. We can arrange other activities to make your stay enjoyable like airport pick up and car hire. For the more adventurous family, we can provide a speed boat, with a banana for the kids, fishing equipment and water skis, quad bikes plus 2 kids 50cc and a jet ski that we can organize at extra cost. Please ask about last minute booking discounts we may have available, call for a price if your departure is within two weeks, and we have unfilled weeks.

Booking notes
To book, please send an email to the email address provided. Your booking will be confirmed within 4 hours. A non-refundable 50% deposit secures your holiday booking with the balance being due 8 weeks prior to departure. Please note there is also a £300 security deposit required paid as part of booking. This will be refunded after your departure providing the villa is handed over in the same condition without any damages. Check out time is 10am. Check in time 3pm.
