This privately owned villa is situated on an exclusive and tranquil residential development, just a short ride away from the centre of Playa Blanca. Built in a typical Moorish style & tastefully furnished to a very high standard, it is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The complex nestles at the foot of Montana Roja & boasts peaceful gardens, children’s play area, tennis court and an enormous communal swimming pool. Special features of the villa include a jacuzzi on the large downstairs sun terrace (as featured in Channel Four's "A Place in the Sun"), two barbecues- gas & charcoal and a secluded roof terrace, with magnificent views over the bay to Fuerteventura - the perfect place to sunbathe or to watch the sunset.

Changeover day
Thursday is normal changeover day to coincide with most UK charter flights. However,we can be flexible outside peak times, depending on adjacent bookings
The villa will be available from 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on departure.

Suitable for children. Pedestrianised complex. Many additional extras to help save on packing eg two hair dryers, hot brush & hair straighteners, clock radios, first aid box, childrens' crockery/cutlery, beach toys

Accessibility
Pedestrianised complex with pathways suitable for wheelchairs. Ramps into complex. Single storey villa with double door main access and no steps to negotiate. The only place inaccessible to wheelchairs is the roof terrace of the villa.

Outside
Private garden and large terraces - downstairs terrace with jacuzzi and roof terrace with magnificent views. Outdoor furniture including sun loungers for villa terraces. Shared communal gardens, childrens' play area, communal swimming pool and tennis court (villa has selection of tennis racquets for clients use).

Coast/Beach
3 minute drive/20 minute walk to the nearest sandy sheltered beach of Playa Flamingo - very suitable for children.
5 min drive to the other beaches in Playa Blanca including Playa Dorada.
10 -15 minute drive to Papagayo beaches - half a dozen beautiful white sandy bays, sheltered between rocky headlands, regarded by many as some of the best in the whole of Spain and the Spanish islands.

Golf
Lanzarote's only current golf course is at Teguise. A new course being built and shortly to be completed at Tias and work is currently underway on the new Playa Blanca course.(very close to our villa). A 9 hole pitch and putt course has opened near Playa Dorada beach in Playa Blanca.

Travel
Arrecife airport is a 30 minute drive away.
Car hire is recommended to take advantage of all the attractions that Lanzarote has to offer.

Distances
The island’s size (50 km long) and reasonable roads means that everywhere is realistically accessible.
7 minute drive to the new Marina Rubicon with its high quality shops, bars and restaurants, diving school and sailing school.
25 minute drive to the marina of Puerto Calero.
30 minute drive to the nightlife of Puerto del Carmen.
20 minute drive to the Fire Mountains.
45/60 minutes to view the dramatic scenery of the North of the island at Famara and Mirador del Rio.

Further details
A short walk to bakery, mini-mart, ;oca;bars & restaurants and to the longest promenade walk in Europe.
10 minute walk to three 4 /5 star + hotels with a selection of evening entertainment, open to non residents.
Playa Blanca offers fantastic beaches, various water sports/rides, scuba diving, boat trips, children's play-park, bungee trampolines, mini golf, shops, bars, cafes, fun-pubs, restaurants, nightclub.
This location is suitable for families and couples and is ideal for getting away from it all.

Booking notes
Verbal/email reservations held for 5 working days
25% deposit and completed booking form secures reservation Balance of the booking fee is due no later than eight weeks before the start of the holiday.
If the villa is booked last minute then the whole booking fee will be due immediately.
Deposit is non-refundable if the remaining balance is not paid within eight weeks of the start of holiday or if the holiday is cancelled.
Payment may also be accepted in euros.

'This was a first trip to Lanzarote, and our first major holiday with our 2 year old daughter. 91 Shangrila Park offered all the amenities we needed to make the holiday comfortable and enjoyable.The apartment is of a very high standard, very well presented, included in the facilities was Sky, a video & a stereo which was a godsend for keeping our daughter entertained in the evenings. The apartment is situated and on a modern development, complete with communal swimming pool and the beach is a short car ride away, as is the local supermarket.
One extra luxury facility is the spa-bath on the Sun terrace, We made very good use of this.
