This semi-detached villa is set in the grounds of the 4 Star HL Rio Playa Blanca complex in a quiet location with secluded rear garden. The villa has Satellite and cable TV plus iPod docking station. An ideal opportunity for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine and entertainment provided. The complex is highly maintained, and has a large heated pool and separate baby pool, tennis courts, play ground and internet access. The restaurant on site has an extensive menu and caters for all tastes. Guests can choose to go all inclusive (prices vary during the year – between 15 - 22 euros per day for adults), if they wish however the villa is well appointed for those who prefer to self cater. The island has many attractions and information can be found in reception. A trip to Fire Mountain is well worth the effort. For those who like to sunbathe on the beach or swim in the sea, Playa Blanca boasts some of the most beautiful beaches on the Island. Car hire available on site.

Notes on accommodation
Both bedrooms have air-conditioning. This site is suitable for all ages. There is a children's club for small children and for the older ones, there are pool tables, football machines and activities such as water polo, boule, football, tennis, archery. There are also toys that other guests have left and inflatables, rubber rings etc., available to be used at guests own risk.

Full disabled access to all facilities.
Outside
The front terrace has a table and 6 chairs. The back garden has a large patio area with another table and 6 chairs. This lends itself to those wishing to retreat from the sun to read, think, paint and relax.
Coast/Beach
5 Minute walk to Playa Flamingo. Buses, taxis will take you to the larger beaches of Playa Dorada and Papagyo.
Golf
The nearest golf course is at Puerto del Carmen which is about 10 miles from the villa. Details are in the information pack at the villa.
Travel
Car hire is available from the airport but we would recommend that you pre book this before you travel. There is a taxi service outside the airport terminal. A shuttle bus service is available around Playa Blanca and surrounding areas.
Distances
The villa is a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach and 10 minutes from the main town/port. To take advantage of the wonderful attractions on Lanzarote we would advise you to take either coach trips or hire a car.
Further details
The supermarket on site is expensive so we would advise you to walk the few minutes up the road to either the Spar or Hypo Dino Supermarkets. There are plenty of restaurants in Playa Blanca that can cater for all tastes. The Irish Bars are always good fun with live entertainment but again can be expensive. There are plenty of banks/cash machines in Playa Blanca. Trips that are recommended are: Fire Mountain, Boat trips around the island, Caves, Tropical bird park, information available from reception.

Guest comments
The villa is located in a beautiful and relaxed complex. It has 2 beautiful pools, children's play area, restaurants and bars. An all inclusive option for food and drink throughout the day can be obtained from reception and is very good value particularly if you have children. The whole experience in staying in this villa was unforgetable. The villa is exceptional in every way, the weather ideal, the people friendly and the whole environment clean, fresh and relaxing. About the owner
We lived in Playa Blanca in 2002/3 and for us, it is the best part of the island with its beautiful unspoilt beaches, wonderful choice of restaurants and plenty for everyone to do. We chose to buy at Rio Playa Blanca because we have children and grandchildren and found this particular resort caters for all ages, young and older alike. We know from experience that if families with children can keep them happy and safe the parents can relax.
