Apt 220 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, penthouse apartment and was completely refurbished in 2008 with plumbing, showers, sanitaryware and light fittings. Each bedroom has twin beds and sleeps a max. of 4 people. Bath No.1 has a toilet, shower & bidet. Bath No. 2 has a toilet and shower. The master bedroom has a superb en-suite bathroom and French doors to the balcony which overlooks the pool, as seen in the photo. There is ample hanging space and drawer unit. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, fridge, hob, microwave and washing machine. A safe is also provided. A 10 minute drive away to the east of the complex is Los Abrigos, an old fishing port, which has many fish restaurants. The sandy beach of El-Medano is 15 minutes away by car. Local amenities include golf, various water sports, cycling, horse-riding and much more. Both apartments may be rented together to form a large 4 bedroomed apartment, if you wish, as there are inter-connecting doors - which are normally kept locked.

Apt 221 (which is identical to Apt 220) and also is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom penthouse apartment (which was completely re-furbished in 2008). Each bedroom has single beds and sleeps a maximum of 4 persons. Bathroom No.1 has a toilet, shower and bidet. Bathroom No. 2 has a toilet & shower. The master bedroom has the en-suite and French doors to the balcony, which overlooks the pool (as seen in the photo). There is ample hanging space and drawer unit. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, fridge, hob, microwave and washing machine. Notes on accommodation
Both apartments are penthouse apartments and are identical. The prices quoted are per week, per apartment. They have fantastic views from the roof terrace. Access to the apartments is by an external stairway. Should you wish to rent both apartments there are inter-connecting, hotel-style doors in one of the bedrooms and these doors could be opened to form a large 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom apartment if you so wished. Otherwise this door is kept permanently locked. The site is also secure and gated.

Accessibility
Unsuitable for elderly or infirm persons. Wheelchair inaccessible. Children are welcome. Pets are not allowed. Non-smoking only.

Outside
There is a superb swimming pool and island bar, as well as a separate children's pool and play area. The complex is a gated, secure area and has magnificent landscaped gardens. It is close to the sea.

Coast/Beach
The resort includes a marina, where scuba diving and submarine trips are available. A few metres on is a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The lively resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are about 20 minutes drive away and 10 minutes to the east is Los Abrigos, an old fishing port with its many fish restaurants. Siam Park, Europe's new water theme park, is about 30 minutes drive away near Playa de las Americas. El Medano, a sandy beach, is about 10 mins drive away.

Golf
The Fairways is located on the Amarilla Golf and County Club resort, which includes an 18 hole, par 72, course open to non-members.

Travel
The resort is ideally situated approximately mid-way between the airport (which is about 15 - 20 minutes drive away) and the more lively resorts of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos. Amarilla Golf Complex is only a short distance from the TFI motorway. Car hire is recommended - which may be booked at the resort as well as taxis. Coach trips to various places of interest are also available.

Distances
The Airport is 15-20 minutes drive away. Siam Park (Europe's new water theme park) is approximately 30 minutes drive away near Playa de las Americas. A 15 minute drive away are shows, museums, markets, boat excursions, a spa, go-karting, horse riding. Within a short walking distance are shops, restaurants, bars, a disco and a beauty salon.

Further details
As well as the local activities and places of interest already mentioned, there is also the ancient village of Masca, the trekking path of Baranco de Infierno, the volcano Mount Teide, plus much more. Then there are the trips on the submarine! So, as well as tennis, golf, horse-riding, go-karting, water sports, there is a huge variety of activities available for the whole family. However, you can also just laze by the beautiful pool (as seen in the picture) or sit on the terrace watching the world go by. NB: The pool is closed for renovation each year from about the middle of November to mid December and the rental price will reduce for those times. As soon as these dates are known they will be added to the listing. 2 plastic swipe cards will be left for you in the apartment but please note that if one of these becomes lost or damaged then, unfortunately, two will need to replaced as they are purchased in pairs and a charge of approximately 10 Euros will be made for their replacement.

Booking notes
Prices are in UK pounds, per week. Discounts are available for bookings in excess of 2 weeks. A refundable Security Bond of £200 will be added - which will be returned to you about 10 days after the rental ends, as long as there are no losses or breakages. The property may be rented with its sister apartment and the inter-connecting doors may be opened to form a large 4 bedroomed apartment if required. Otherwise these doors are kept locked.
