Casa Francesa is set in a well established residencia of Los Claveles. With fantastic views of Fuertaventura and Los Lobos. See the cruise ships passing Playa Blanca from the patio. Francesca is a 4 bedroom villa all on 1 level consisting of 1 master bedroom en-suite,1 king size bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms, family bathroom. Spacious lounge with American style kitchen, utility room with washing machine. 3 bedrooms and lounge have ceiling fans, 1 bedroom has standard fan. Large swimming pool heated by solar and electric heat pump. Surrounded by large terrace facing south towards the island of Fuerteventura, the terrace is surrounded by mature gardens. Taxi rank 3 mins walk and bus stop also 2 mins walk. Supermarket 2 mins walk. Fantastic views of the mountains. 15 mins walk to the beautiful Flamingo Beach where there are also several fine restaurants. Very quiet area for a peaceful holiday. Francesca offers a great family holiday.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds based on 4 sharing. There will be a £75 charge per week for any additional person. Discounts are available at certain times.
A £50 charge per week will be charged for the pool electric heat pump.

Changeover day
Changeover days are preferably Thursday or Sunday but this is flexible. The villa will be available from 15:00 hours on the day of arrival and the villa must be vacated by 10:00 hours on the day of departure.

Living Rooms: Large Main lounge - two 3 seater sofas, coffee table, satelite tv with english news channels,Itv and some English movie channels. DVD player & VHS player,CD player,dining room table with chairs, Ceiling fan, Selection of DVDs & children's videos.
Other: Sliding doors onto patio area and sliding doors between main lounge and 4th twin bedroom. Privacy curtains on all door areas. Cot & high chair can be hired at no extra cost.

linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included. Towels are changed on the 2nd week of your 14 night stay. Bed linen can be changed by request also. A light house clean every 7 days. Pool towels available.

Notes on accommodation
Suitable for children as the villa is all on 1 level. Children's books,games and DVDs available. A great chill out Villa with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The garden/ terrace area is lock fast and secure, especially for young children. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, juice & water will be available for the start of your holiday.

Accessibility
The villa has a ramp outside the garage for wheelchair access into the property.

Outside
Outdoor furniture front and rear. Pool is approx 10 x 5 metres, based on on 2 circular design . Heated private swimming pool. Barbecue. Sunbeds. Private walled area with views of the sea and the mountains. Views are across to the islands of Los Lobos and Fuertaventura.

Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is 15 mins walk or 5 mins by car. There are 3 beaches with white sand, Flamingo Beach which is 15 mins walk, the town beach which is 5 mins by car and Dorada beach which is 10 mins by car. The beautiful beaches of Papagayo are definitely worth a visit. There is a volcano (Montana Roja) some 15 minutes walk from the villa giving fantastic views over Playa Blanca and across the sea. You can walk round the perimeter and go inside the crater.

Golf
New 18 hole golf course is a 20 mins drive.

Special interest holidays
Ideal location for RYA courses at the local Marina Rubicon.
Also an ideal base for cyclists and /or training for the annual Iron Man and the 3 Islands Challenge. Also for walking enthusiasts.

Travel
As Arrecife Airport is 35 mins by car it is recommended you hire a car or travel by taxi. Airport pick ups can be arranged. To appreciate the scenery in Lanzarote it is advisable to hire a car.

Fire Mountain is a must, the volcanic scenery is fantastic.
Driving through the quaint old villages in the north is like going back in time, most field work is by hand, with the occasional donkey. The wine regions outside Uga are very interesting.

Distances
Playa Blanca village is 20 mins walk or 5 mins by car, taxi or the local bus service.

Further details
Playa blanca has many fine restaurants situated mainly around the village, although there are a number of equally fine restaurants situated around Marina Rubicon. Entertainment to suit everyone at various bars around the town. The Commercial Papagayo Centre is the busiest with a variety of shops and bars and restaurants. Most bars close around midnight, but there are a few which stay open till around 2am, one nightclub is open till 6am.
The Parque National (Fire Mountain) is only a short journey away and a must to see. There are markets at Marina Rubicon on a Wednesday and Saturday mornings. There is also a farmers market at Mancha Blanca (again a short journey from Playa Blanca) on a Sunday morning. Playa Blanca is a families and couple resort and as such is quietest resort on the island.
