The villa, finished to the highest standards, is furnished in a contemporary style with high quality fittings. The house is completely self-contained with entrance gates and private car parking. The villa enjoys superb views out to sea from the terrace and balcony. The beaches, restaurants, bars and shops of Caleta are all within walking distance. Closer to still you will find the Atlantico Shopping Centre, with a variety of up market shops, a well stocked supermarket and bars and restaurants. Guests at the villa may use many of the facilities available at the Golf Club located within the 5* Elba Golf Hotel. These include, gymnasium, tennis, restaurants and bars (fee payable locally). English speaking management on hand 24/7.

Outside
To the front of the property is a set of double gates leading to the very private professionally landscaped garden which is a good size. The garden is professionally maintained and is ideal for enjoying the Canarian sunshine. Large terrace with dining table and 6 chairs. Barbecue. 4 sun loungers. 2 balconies on first floor. The private communal pool is located just 50m from the villa.
Coast/Beach
2km from the safe sandy beach at Caleta. Many watersports are available at the marina area, including pedalo hire, jet ski hire, snorkeling etc etc. Also take time to visit the seals at the marina, feeding time is great fun for young and old alike! The beautiful beaches of the Southern part of this lovely island may be accessed by car within 30 minutes.
Golf
100m from the 18th tee at the golf course. Guests at the villa can obtain a green fee discount at the Golf Club and tee times can be pre-arranged with the Owner.
Travel
Fuerteventura airport - 15 minutes away. Car hire is not essential, but it is recommended to enable guests to enjoy all that this beautiful island has to offer.
Distances
2kms to Caleta de Fuste. 1.5 kms to the large commercial centre housing a wide variety of interesting shops, large supermarket, cinema, bowling, restaurants etc.

There are a number of excellent restaurants in Caleta - we particularly recommend the Puerto Castillo in the marina, the steak is excellent; La Paella located in the Barcelo Castillo hotel overlooking the beach; La Fuente, excellent fish and seafood dishes; China (not surprisingly Chinese!)

About the owner
Hi, I'm Jan and we live in East Grinstead, West Sussex. My husband Toby and I have 2 children aged 16 and 13, 1 dog, and 2 cats, and together with my husband Toby and 2 children we first visited Fuerteventura in 2004 and immediately fell in love with the island. We promptly decided that we'd like to have a more permanent base here and started to look for our ideal home from home in the sun.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
After several house hunting trips during 2005 we found Villa Golf y Mar. As soon as we saw the villa we knew it was the place for us - although at this stage my husband was not a golfer we really like the atmosphere around the golf course and particularly liked the greenery and planting which stood out in the middle of the sometimes barren Fuerteventura landscape. With 2 children it was important to us that the complex had a 2 swimming pools within a very short walk, and that the villa was located within an easy walk of Caleta town. We have spent many a happy and relaxed family holiday here and hope that you will too! Thank you for looking.
