Villa Roma is an individual architect designed villa set in the tranquil village of Lajares. This large villa is furnished in a traditional style and consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large lounge with an archway connecting to the dining room and a luxury Italian fitted kitchen. The private pool which is electrically heated during the winter months faces south, as does the extensive terracing. The partially covered roof terrace provides 360 degree views to the mountains and countryside.

Changeover day
Flexible. Arrive any day, depart any day. The villa is available from 3pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure unless otherwise agreed.

Notes on accommodation
Villa Roma is a 'No Smoking villa' although there is an ashtray provided for outside use. Welcome packs can be provided on request at a charge of £25. Bedding for cot is not provided. This property is managed and maintained by the owners.

Outside
Villa Roma is south facing with a lovely shady area for alfresco dining, containing seating for six and a built in BBQ. The villa and 8 x 4m pool are very private, being set in mature gardens on a 1000sq.m plot surrounded by a 2m high boundary wall with electric sliding gates, making it completely enclosed and safe for children. The sun terrace can be accessed from throughout the villa. The extensive roof terrace also benefits from partial shade and views across the village of Lajares and surrounding countryside. Six sun beds and two sun umbrellas complete the garden furniture along with an open poolside shower. There is a walled drying area which can be accessed from an outside door off the terrace or from the kitchen.
Coast/Beach
Villa Roma benefits from the peacefulness of being slightly inland but still only 5 mins drive from the surfing beach at Majanicho, 7 mins from the wonderful beaches and lagoons at El Cortillo and 10 mins from the tourist town of Corralejo with just a short ride further on to the golden sand dunes.
Travel
Lajares is a 35 mins drive from the airport and although a car is not essential it is recommended to make your stay more relaxed and enjoyable. Car hire and taxis are available at the airport.
Further details
Lajares is still a very unspoilt, typical Canarian village with 7 bars/restaurants, a large supermarket, French bakery, pharmacy, surf shops, hairdressers, newsagent and cash point, which are all just a 10-15 mins walk from Villa Roma. Flights: as from October 2009, Monarch and EasyJet will be commencing direct flights to Fuerteventura from most major UK airports.

A deposit of 25% payable by cheque or bank transfer is required on booking. (Cheque must clear at least 3 weeks before holiday starts).
