Changeover day
There is no defined changeover day but generally Thursday and Sunday is normal.

Notes on accommodation
Hair dryer included. Marble floors throughout property. Welcome pack (fresh milk, bread, spread, tea, coffee, sugar and water) available at extra cost, information pack with emergency contact numbers and a visit from the management company within 24 hours of arrival.

The property is one level with a small step to outside area.
Outside
Large enclosed mature garden with sun terrace with 4 sun loungers. Outside dining area with large table and 4 chairs. BBQ area with access to inside dining area. Private car parking space. 20 steps from large 25m swimming pool.
Coast/Beach
The rugged coastline is only 2 minutes walk from our villa and there is a block-paved path which goes right round the coastline. The nearest beach, Playa Flamingo, is about 2km away and can be reached either on foot or by car. Playa Blanca's local beach, Playa Dorada, is about 5 minutes drive away and then there are the beautiful Papagayo beaches which are within 15 minutes drive. There is plenty of opportunity for safe swimming and snorkelling. Diving and water sports are also possible.
Golf
Golf is available at Costa Teguise (45 minutes) and outside Puerto del Carmen (30 minutes).
Travel
The airport at Arrecife is only 30 minutes drive away from our villa and we will send you detailed instructions as to how to arrive at our villa from the airport. The use of a hired car is recommended as there is so much to see in Lanzarote and the roads are excellent to drive on. We can put you in touch with a very good car hire company that we use ourselves each time we come to Lanzarote.
Distances
Playa Blanca with its fine restaurants and shops is only 5 minutes drive away from our villa and Puerto del Carmen, which has a busy nightlife, if you wish, is only about 30 minutes drive away. There is now a bus service that goes to the centre of Playa Blanca, 20 minutes past the hour and 10 minutes to the hour.
Further details
There are shops which are only 2 minutes walk from the villa. There are 2 supermarkets which will provide you with all the day-to-day essentials, restaurants - Italian & Spanish restaurants, 2 English pubs that serve food. A bakery which serves fresh food. The nearest bank is only 5 minutes drive in Playa Blanca.
Booking notes
There is a booking deposit of 50%, which is non-refundable in the case of cancellation. The balance paid 6 weeks before arrival. If there are 8 weeks or less to the start of the holiday, payment must be made in full.

"Fabulous villa at a reasonable price, everything we needed was there. Quality furniture and fittings, comfortable beds, beautiful outside space with dining area. Total peace & quiet, 2 minutes from the clifftops with the ocean crashing down below, what a view! The directions which Graeme sent us were spot on and very easy to follow.
Great french bakery 2 minutes away, also does good breakfasts, as does the Lighthouse cafe several doors down.
Would certainly recommend to friends."
