South facing bungalows in a quiet location, only a short walk from Flamingo beach, the town, the ferry to Fuerteventura and the harbour. In this central location a car is not a necessary, with the taxi rank and the bus stop only a short stroll. The bungalows are tucked away in the North-West corner of this small complex of 34 bungalows with mature gardens, communal pool, sun terraces and spectacular mountain views.

Changeover day
Normally we ask guests to arrive from 2pm onwards and vacate the properties by 10am.

The bedroom has twin beds, bedside table and lamp, a large fitted wardrobe with shelves and a safe. A chest of drawers and mirror. Pillows, bedlinen and duvets are provided. The bathroom is fully tiled with walk-in shower, toilet, sink, vanity unit and mirror and hairdryer. Towels are provided. The self-contained open plan kitchen has a washing machine, fridge, ceramic 4 ring hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, oven, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, ironing board, iron and ample storage space. The living room is comfortably furnished with a sofa bed, easy chairs, coffee tables, dining table and chairs and throws. It is equipped with bedlinen, duvet and pillows stored in unit under sofa bed. There is a wardrobe unit with shelves for additional storage. It has satellite TV, CD, DVD players, books and games. Solar reflecting patio doors lead to the the private patio area and garden. Patio has table, parasol, 4 chairs, 2 sun loungers and clothes airer. |

Notes on accommodation
Although the bungalows are south facing the solar reflecting patio doors ensure the inside of the bungalows remain cool. The properties are suitable for both children and older people. The complex and the Playa Blanca area is generally flat, with ramps, making it suited for both pushchairs and wheelchairs. A cot is a available on request. Sofa bed in the lounge area.
Accessibility
The bungalow is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. There is wheelchair and pushchair access to the bungalows from the road and to the majority of the local amenities in the Playa Blanca area.
Outside
There is a communal pool which is approximately 6 x 15 metres metres and 1 - 1.5 metres in depth. A separate, small children's pool and large sun terrace area is set within gardens. The bungalow has a private patio area, with garden, patio furniture and exterior light.
Coast/Beach
The bungalows are just five minutes walk away from Flamingo Beach and the ferry port. There are regular crossings to Fuerteventura from the port.
Travel
Arrecife Airport is approximately 30 minutes drive from Jardin del Sol. You will find an abundance of taxis at the airport. If you want to explore the beautiful island of Lanzarote, there are many car hire and excursion companies in the local area.

5 minutes to shops, restaurants, bars.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival date. Prices quoted are based on 1-2 people. For each additional guest there is a nominal charge of £50, up to a maximum of 4 people. Prices are fully inclusive and discounts are available for last minute and long term bookings.

About the owner
Andy and Sue (the owners of these bungalows) are brother and sister. Andy moved from the UK to live permanently in Playa Blanca in 2006. Sue and her husband Derek, regularly took holidays in Lanzarote, being drawn back year after year to this beautiful island with its rugged landscapes, culture and all year round, warm climate.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Sue and Derek paid regular visits to see Andy who was living on Jardin del Sol. They all loved the quiet, tranquil atmosphere of the complex with just a short walk to the beaches, restaurants and shops. So taken by the ambiance and central location, in 2008 they decided to buy bungalows 21 and 22.
Unique benefits of the property
Both of these adjacent properties were refurbished to a very high standard and let for holiday guests. Even during the first 2 years of letting, many guests have returned to holiday again in these well equipped and secluded bungalows. Sue manages the bookings in the UK and Andy, with his partner Shirley (who moved to Playa Blanca in 2009) live close by to provide a personal and attentive service to guests during their stay.
