A tastefully furnished apartment with all the comforts of home, perfectly located with a large sunny private terrace overlooking the beginning of the Mogan valley and yet only minutes from all the amenities of Puerto de Mogan's lovely sandy beach and its wealth of restaurants, bars and shops. The rooftop pool, which is heated in the winter months, and and spacious solarium area with numerous sunloungers provides the finishing touch.

Please note that our prices are for the apartment and not per person. Discounts sometimes available for last minute bookings or bookings for one month or over. If we agree to a booking of 5 persons a small supplement can be charged for a fold-up bed.
Changeover day
Our normal changeover days are Mondays or Saturdays but we can be flexible to other arrival days, especially if not in the high season months. Arrival not before 13.30 and departure no later than between 10.30 and 11.00 a.m.

| Bathrooms: | Bathroom has toilet, washbasin and shower cubicle. |
| Kitchen: | Fully equipped with 4-ring vitro ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle and toaster. |
| Living Rooms: | Comfortable sitting room includes 3-seater settee, dining table and 4 chairs, bar unit, TV with satellite news channels in English, DVD/Video and small music centre. There is a large collection of English videos for your enjoyment. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included and cleaning and change of towels and linen is weekly. Continental quilts are used on all beds. Cot and highchair available on request. |
Notes on accommodation
Our apartment is equipped with air-conditioning and is situated on the second (top) floor and has a lift. We have English (satellite) news channels. There is off-road parking in front of the building for our guests.

Outside
Our rooftop pool is 8 metres x 5 metres and is heated in the winter months. There is a large sunbathing area here where there are numerous sun-loungers for our guests use. There are also toilets. The apartment has a large private terrace with table, chairs and 2 sun-loungers and due to its ideal east-facing position has the benefit of sun from breakfast time to late afternoon.
Coast/Beach
The nearest sandy beach is Puerto de Mogan a four to five minute walk from our apartment. Puerto de Mogan has an idyllic marina harbour with excellent restaurants and a labyrinth of pretty flowered walkways. The next recommended sandy beach is either Taurito in the next bay or at Amadores, just outside Puerto Rico, a 20-25 minute drive away.
Golf
The nearest golf courses are Salobre Golf, a 30 minute drive and Maspalomas Golf a further 10 minutes drive from there. There is also a 9-hole course and driving range at Tauro, about 15 minutes drive away.
Travel
Las Palmas airport is approximately a 50 minute drive and we can arrange private transfers from and to the airport if desired with one of our excellent licensed drivers. Depending on how you choose to spend your holiday, car hire is not essential because you can walk everywhere if you just wish to remain in Puerto de Mogan to relax. If you would like to hire a car, particularly in resort, we are happy to help.
Distances
Mogan town is 10 minutes away by car. Arguineguin is a Canarian fishing village with a good market on Tuesdays and is about a 25 minute drive. The island's capital city Las Palmas is great for shopping and has a splendid beach and promenade and can be reached in just over an hour by car.
Further details
Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, banks, chemist and the local post office are easily reached on foot. The apartment has a house book listing specific and general information. Boat trips and fishing are popular in Puerto de Mogan and walks in the surrounding area. For lovers of jazz there are several weeks a year with nightly jazz at the harbour front. Dates available on request. Some restaurants and bars have live music on certain evenings of the week. A small note on our climate. Puerto Mogan, ideally positioned in a sheltered valley, is blessed with one of the finest year-round climates in Europe. In the winter months the days are wonderfully sunny with temperatures in the high seventies and early eighties. In the summer - far from being too hot for comfort - the sun is higher in the sky, the temperatures are of course higher but the heat produced is dry, not humid, and you are cooled by the lovely light sea breezes. The long summer evenings are pleasantly warm and perfect for lazy relaxation on a terrace with a jug of cold sangria or a bottle or two of white wine.
Booking notes
To book Westhill, we require a 50% deposit to reserve the apartment with the remaining 50% payable no later than one month exactly before your arrival in Gran Canaria.
