Spacious apartment with private terraces to front and rear. Large rear terrace offering stunning uninterrupted views over the Aquapark, Atlantic Ocean, La Gomera Island and Mount Teide. You can actually see the dolphins from the terrace and in the evening watch the sunset behind La Gomera. The front terraces look to the swimming pool. This apartment has 1 bedroom, sleeping up to 4 people, and would suit both couples and families alike. It is poolside, so there are no stairs to climb. Situated on the well-maintained Malibu Park Complex, the apartment has a shared swimming pool and excellent on site facilities and is within walking distance of all amenities in the resort. The apartment is a 15 minute stroll away from the popular Puerto Colon Harbour and beach area, with many bars, restaurants, shops and banks. It is within walking distance of the Aquapark and new Siam Park attraction (opening soon).

Changeover day
We are as flexible as possible but Fridays are preferred. Apartment to be vacated by 10am on day of departure (this is also flexible when possible).

Notes on accommodation
A safe is provided within the apartment free of charge.
There is a selection of DVDs, CDs, games and playing cards, etc. A British agent is on hand if needed.

Amenities/Facilities provided

 

Outside
The apartment has 3 private terraces providing all day sun.
The rear double terrace is not overlooked and has a large dining table with parasol, 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers. This terrace offers stunning views over the Aquapark (where you can actually see the dolphin show), Atlantic Ocean and the breathtaking sunset over the Island of La Gomera. You can also see Mount Teide from this terrace. One of the front terraces has a table and 4 chairs and looks to the swimming pool. There is a pool bar that overlooks the separate children’s section of the swimming pool.

Coast/Beach
There are many beaches to choose from in Playa de Las Americas including the nearby Torviscas beach and the popular harbour and beach of Puerto Colon which are both a 15 minute stroll away from the apartment. Whale and dolphin trips, fishing excursions and water sports are available to book in Puerto Colon. The Geranium Walk is a sea front promenade which runs from Playa del Duque through Playa de Las Americas and into Los Cristianos with many shops and restaurants on the way.

Golf
Golf is very popular in Tenerife with several courses in the area. Tenerife is becoming a major player in the elite world of golfing destinations. Some golf courses within a 10 min drive of the apartment are Golf Las Americas, Adeje Golf, Los Palos, Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf. Some golf courses provide a pick up/drop off service.

Special interest holidays
Tenerife is very popular for walking and hiking holidays.

Travel
It is a 15 minute drive from Tenerife (South) Airport to the apartment. A taxi from the airport should cost no more than 25 euros.
If you want to see some of the Island, car hire may be advisable although the area is very well served by buses which will take you all over Tenerife. Mount Teide, Santa Cruz, Los Gigantes and Puerto de la Cruz are all within easy reach by bus.
Taxis are very reasonable throughout Tenerife.

Distances
Tenerife (South) Airport is 12 miles away. Tenerife (North) Airport is approx 50 miles away. The nearest ferry port is at Los Cristianos which is 3 miles away. Playa de Las Americas centre is about a mile away. The Aquapark and Siam Park are very close to the apartment. San Eugenio shopping complex is about a 10 min walk from the apartment. It has a large supermarket (Mercadona) underneath and many other shops as well.

Further details
The Canary Islands are known for their year round sunshine and Tenerife is therefore a popular destination throughout the year. Malibu Park complex is situated opposite the Aquapark in Playa de Las Americas and is within walking distance of all amenities in the resort. Complex facilities include on site supermarket, 24 hour reception, Splash poolside snack bar with cinema screen showing sporting events/films, Terrace Restaurant, swimming pool with children’s section, children's playground (unsupervised), money changing facilities, internet access, tennis courts, free poolside sun beds, table tennis & pool tables, hourly courtesy coach to various points around the resort, laundry room, luggage room (with showers and changing facilities) and lifts to all levels. There is plenty to do in the area including excursions to Mount Teide (the highest mountain in Spain) and many other places of interest. Information regarding these excursions is available from reception. Other activities in the resort include the Aquapark & Dolphinarium, whale and dolphin cruises, diving & fishing trips, various water sports, golf, quad biking & go karting, Loro Parque, Siam Park and Jungle Park. There is plenty of shopping and numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. Alternatively there are nearby restaurants that will deliver a takeaway to the door if you prefer! Possibly one of the most exclusive restaurants on the Island, El Molino Blanco (White Windmill), is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Booking notes
Bookings can be made via email or telephone. A non returnable deposit of £50 per week is required to secure a booking. The balance is then due 6 weeks before departure.
