The duplex is situated on the well known, friendly and very peaceful Playmar complex with 24 hour security, well kept gardens and 2 child friendly pools. The apartment is privately owned and regularly used by our family of 5 which it sleeps comfortably, everything is there to make your stay as relaxing as we can make it. We also own the property opposite to this ref C3731.

Notes on accommodation
The duplex is child friendly. We now have a new travel cot with all bedding and high chair.
Outside
Nice size patio with table chairs and large canopy, a very large shallow swimming pool with a paddling pool, plenty of sun loungers with Pool snack bar (seasonal) but open most weekends. (Spanish Local prices). Wi-fi available free.
Coast/Beach
The world famous dunes of Maspalomas with miles of sandy beaches (nudist for the brave) are only a five minute taxi ride to the beach (3 euros).
Golf
The duplex is within walking distance to the Maspalomas 18 hole golf course. There are a further nine courses on the island all a short distance from the complex, they have been developed by the most prestigious international designers and offer exceptional features for the game. Playing golf in Gran Canaria is more than just playing a sport, its an oasis of peace where you can calmly enjoy your game and the all year climate.
Travel
The Las Palmas airport is 20 minutes by taxi or hopper bus or local bus
Airport pick up can be arranged.
Distances
The duplex is within easy reach of everything, 10 minute walk to all the main attractions, golf course, paintball, Holiday World. 15 minutes walk to Playa Del Ingles, where you will find restaurants and bars. All other amenities are less than a 4 euro taxi ride Maspalomas Beach and Dunes, Playa del Ingles beach, Aqualand, saturday market.
Further details
2 minute walk to Spar supermarket, bar and restaurant. Vista Flor a 2 minute walk away has evening entertainment every night, restaurant and bar for all the family.

About the owner
Hi, We are a family of five my wife Helena, 2 daughters and 1 son, we visited Gran Canaria in 2006 and fell in love with the laid back and relaxed life style, also not forgetting all year round sun with temperatures not dropping much below 75 through out the winter months, and cool evenings making it the perfect all year round holiday destination.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We purchased the property in 2008 , after spending a couple of weeks looking , we found that Puerto Rico the main British resort was to hilly with many steps taking you down to the Town and beach.
Maspalomas stood out as the best area, only 20 minutes from the main Airport, all low level with no big Hotel chains, everything you need is walking distance from the Complex, the beach and the upmarket resort of Melonaras with many shops and beach front Restaurants being a 20 minute walk.
Playmar was once a vibrant holiday resort but now being bought by the Spanish for weekend breaks traveling down from the Capital Las Palmas which is about 40 minute drive.Well maintained with a fantastic large Pool free Wi-Fi and table tennis with a pool bar serving reasonable priced drink.
Unique benefits of the property
We have tried to make your stay as relaxing as possible we have had no negative feed back from now many returning clients.
Everything you need is supplied , keeping suitcase weight down. Beach towels, Hairdryer, adapter plugs, cool box , ice packs, beach trolley, etc..
Bedding is often updated as we are out there at least 3 times per year.
As you can see from our availability page the duplex can be booked well in advance.
