Lijori Apartment, Cotillo Sol is ideally situated, facing the little white church and lighthouse. Only a few minutes walk to the two small harbours, restaurants, bars, shops and bus stop and less than a 10 minute walk to the wonderful beaches, north or south of El Cotillo. A perfect all year round location for a relaxing holiday for up to 4 people - adults of all ages, couples and families. Our apartment is tastefully furnished to a high standard and fully equipped for up to 4 people. The large roof terrace provides the opportunity for all day sunbathing, relaxing and al fresco dining. The entrance hall, with secure entry phone system leads into the apartment.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with twin beds.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds.
The twin beds can be pushed together or kept apart, as preferred. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes, attractive rattan shelf units, bedside tables, lamps, mirrors, portable fans and hairdryers.
Bathrooms: Fully tiled white bathroom with high quality double shower unit and screen over full size bath, bidet, basin, toilet, grab rail, shaver point and fully automatic washing machine.
Kitchen: The dining/kitchen area is fully equipped for 4 people with everything you require - including a corkscrew, Oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, extractor fan, iron etc.
Utility Room: Clothes airer, general utility equipment (mop, bucket, broom etc) stored on balcony leading from main bedroom.
Living Rooms: Tastefully furnished, spacious, open plan lounge/dining area with 2 large, comfortable sofas, reading lamps, desk, coffee tables, dining table and chairs.
Other: Satelite TV (Not Sky, but BBC World, Travel etc), radio, DVD and CD/MP3 player, selection of CDs, DVDs, books and games are all provided for your enjoyment.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Local British agents provide mid week towel and weekly linen changes. Prices include linen, all towels (& beach), cleaning before and after your stay.

Outside
Our large roof terrace (50 sq.m.) is easily accessed by stairs from the main balcony and furnished with sun loungers, including cushions, umbrellas, tables, chairs, plants, shower and BBQ. Ideal for relaxing and al fresco dining. Patio doors lead from the living area to the main balcony, which is not overlooked by other buildings, and is furnished with a table, chairs and cushions. Here you can enjoy the shade when you want a rest from the sunshine. A second balcony off the main bedroom is ideal for drying your towels.

Coast/Beach
A short stroll south of El Cotillo, past El Toston Tower, brings you to several foot paths that lead down to Playa del Castillo. This sandy beach, backed by cliffs with dramatic mountain scenery, is a favourite for water sports enthusiasts. In contrast, to the north towards the lighthouse, is a unique coastline where offshore reefs of lava have made a barrier against the ocean waves and protect quiet turquoise lagoons with sandy beaches. Naturism is widely acceptable on most beaches.

Travel
El Cotillo is a scenic 30-40 minute drive across the island from Fuerteventura Airport, south of Puerto Del Rosario. Although certainly not essential, car hire is recommended and reasonably priced. The roads are very quiet, ideal for driving, giving you the opportunity to explore and discover different aspects of the island's landscape and culture. The ferry port at Corralejo is a 20 min drive. There is a reliable bus service to/from El Cotillo allowing you get around the north of the Island.

Further details
El Cotillo 45km from the airport, is a friendly, working fishing village in the north west of the island. Ideal for those who prefer to escape from the larger resorts. To appreciate El Cotillo you need to walk around and explore, take in the waves and sunsets and just relax. The supermarket, shops, banks, internet and surfboard hire are within easy access of the apartment.

Booking notes
A deposit of 25% (non refundable) is required on booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. Bookings for all time periods considered. Changeover days flexible. Transfers not included but can be arranged - payable locally. Maximum of 4 people. Brochure, flight and car hire suggestions available on request.
