Just outside the fishing village of El Cotillo the house overlooks a stunning blue lagoon with white sand beach, also enjoying dramatic sunsets over the Atlantic ocean. Swimming here is very safe for children, with excellent snorkeling and fishing. For the more adventurous, there are real surf beaches on the other side of the village. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the locality, many renowned for fresh fish. The villa sleeps 8 in 4 large bedrooms and has an outside sun terrace facing the sea. New to the market, this has been an exclusive family holiday home for the past 15 years. The owners still live in the village and can provide expert advice on how to extract the maximum enjoyment from this special location.

Notes on accommodation
The proximity of the lagoons removes the necessity for a pool. Swimming here is very safe and the sea temperature rarely drops below 19c even in the winter. Outside the lagoons you can see the full force of the Atlantic rollers and watch the surfers.

Coast/Beach
Villa is front line, in fact the only line. Beach is 150 metres from front gate. Large surf beach is the other side of village to the south, 5 minutes by car.

Travel
Airport on Fuerteventura is at Puerto Rosario. El Cotillo is about 25 miles away. The roads are now all good and driving time is no more than 40 minutes. There are taxis from the airport (approx 50 euros). From El Cotillo there are frequent buses, and bicycle hire is possible.

El Cotillo is one mile away, the closest resort is Corralejo at 15 miles.
Further details
El Cotillo, although there has been much recent development, remains a quiet fishing village. The new harbour allows the many small boats to operate all year round. There are many bars to suit all tastes. Several restaurants offer fresh fish. There are now 3 small supermarkets.
