Outside
Private, electrically heated pool measuring 8x4m x 1.8m deep with stainless steel handrail over the Roman steps. Large sun terrace with 6 sun beds. A further 2 sun beds are on the private terrace to the master bedroom suite. The gardens in Casa Montaña Roja are large and private so your leisurely break will be uninterrupted.
Coast/Beach
The immediate coastline is rugged and rocky. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the coast where you will be greeted by a fabulous block paved promenade. This has to be the best place on the island for watching the sun go down.
The nearest beach is Playa Flamingo which is about 3.5Km away. Playa Flamingo beach is completely sheltered and an ideal place for the childrean to play whilst adults relax. Playa Blanca boasts a small beach and beyond that, the fabulous secluded beaches of Papagayo.
Golf
Nearest golf course is at Puerto del Carmen, approximately 25km.
The Playa Blanca course (currently underconstruction) is about 1.5km from the villa and will be finished by 2013.
Travel
Airport 35Km - Arrecife. Car Hire recommended or we can arrange door-to-door airport transfers for you if you prefer. There is also a first class local bus service.
Distances
Beaches - Playa Flamingo, 1.5km, Playa Dorada, 3km.
Excellent Italian restaurant 2 mins walk. Nearest shop 2 mins walk (with in-house bakery). 2 English run bars 2 mins walk. Very good English restaurant and bar 2 mins walk. Chinese restaurant - 2 mins walk.
Argentinian (awesome steaks) restaurant 10 mins walk. Pizzaria 10 mins walk, first class Spanish restaurant 10 minutes walk. Excellent Canarian restaurant 4km. Please see location pages on our website for accurate proximities.

Gill and Kevin were married in July 1981.
Kevin works in IT sales and Gill looks after Kevin and the house.
We like to travel but have a particular affinity with Lanzarote.
We like good food and quality wine, both of which are offered in abundance in Lanzarote.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We wanted a holiday home and Lanzarote was the obvious choice because of our love for the island and the fact that it enjoys good weather all year round.
Having travelled to every corner of the island, Playa Blanca was the obvious choice as it is such a peaceful location.
The villas in this development are of a far superior build quality than any other we have seen.
Unique benefits of the property
Faro Park is a residential area with many villas being permanently lived in by the owners. Consequently, the area offers a truly relaxing atmosphere.
This really is our home from home and the furnishings and gardens reflect this fact. We also like to stay in and cook so the kitchen is fitted with high quality equipment.
We have bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and many more a little further afield.
There is an excellent local bus service that runs 7 days per week, every half hour from before 07:00 to after 22:00 so it really is a location you can go and chill out in without the hassle of a car.
