The house itself has a lovely rustic wooden pergola, perfect for alfresco dining. Inside there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and lounge. All modern features such as satellite television, DVD / CD player, cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher etc are included. There is also a laundry room. The house has uninterupted sea views with the nearest property 100 metres away. Situated in open countryside between Macher and Puerto Calero, the house occupies a quiet, private position, yet is close to restaurants, bars and shops at Puerto Calero marina (2 mins by car). The airport is only 15 mins away. Other parts of the island are within easy reach.

Changeover day
We prefer a Thursday changeover but are prepared to be flexible in special situations. Please ask. Arrival not before 2pm and departure by 10am - although bags can be dropped off if you advise us beforehand that you will want to do that.

Bedroom 1 is spacious with a high ceiling, a double bed, dressing table and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 2 is modern with a double bed, dressing table and wardrobe. It also has double opening doors giving direct access to the pool area and has sea views. |

Bathroom 1 has a washbasin, toilet and walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 has a washbasin, toilet, bidet and a walk-in shower. |
| Kitchen: |
The fully modernised kitchen has a cooker with extractor hood, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher etc. A range of cooking utensils, glasses, cutlery and crockery etc is supplied, sufficient for a group of up to four guests. |

The laundry room contains a fitted sink and worktop with an automatic washing machine. |
| Living Rooms: |
The dining room with beamed ceiling connects directly to both kitchen and lounge. There are double opening doors that give access to the pergola and outdoor terrraces, for alfresco dining and sundowners, relaxing and enjoying the sea views. |

The lounge has a satellite television, DVD player and surround sound music system. Two comfortable leather settees (seat 5 in all) and a coffee table complete the range of furniture. There is also a wood burning stove. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
All towels and bed linen is provided, including pool towels. A change of towels is provided mid-weekly. Maid service and a bed linen change takes place once a week, pool cleaning twice weekly. A welcome pack of essentials is provided for guests on arrival |

Accessibility
The accommodation is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Outside
The property has a private solar heated swimming pool for the sole use of guests. It is heated using a solar system. The extensive gardens are planted with a variety of specimen plants. Poolside sun loungers with cushioned covers are provided for guests use. Underneath the pergola are four comfortable chairs together with a dining table and four chairs. A barbecue is also positioned in one corner of the terraced area, allowing guests to cook outside if they wish.
Coast/Beach
The coast at Puerto Calero marina is 2 mins away by car - literally just down the hill. Puerto del Carmen with its white sandy beaches is 5 / 6 mins away by car.
Golf
1. Costa Teguise Golf - 20kms away, built by a British course designer John Harris in 1978. A mature and attractive 18 hole course with sea and distant extinct volcano views together with full grown Canarian Palms providing shade. 2. Puerto del Carmen Golf - 10kms away at Tias, just nearing completion. 18 holes, more news when it opens.
Special interest holidays
Many activity sports can be enjoyed on Lanzarote from road cycling to mountain biking, surfing, kite boarding, sailing, fishing, diving, hangliding, walking, painting and photography. We can make enquiries for you or simply put you in touch with a selection of appropriate organisations - which ever you wish.
Lanzarote is famous for its annual 'Ironman' and 'Tres Islas' triathlon races - simply watch these gruelling events or for seasoned triathlon competitors, why not join in!
Travel
The island's airport is at Arrecife, where frequent charter flights arrive every day from all over Europe bringing holidaymakers to this different and beautiful island.
Further details
There is a local supermarket in Puerto Calero - of a good size and very well stocked. Also very convenient is the supermarket at Macher garage, well stocked and opens until late. There are large supermarkets in Playa Honda and Arrecife .
Puerto Calero marina has lots of restaurants and bars to choose from, with Puerto del Carmen only a few minutes further with everything from banks, chemists and estate agents to bars, restaurants and night clubs. We can suggest lots of special places to go and eat / visit etc.
Booking notes
A booking is secured when a £200 deposit is paid into our UK bank account (or euros into our Spanish account), after which, a confirmation document / receipt is issued as an e-mail attachment. A final invoice is provided 2 weeks before scheduled commencement of your holiday for payment by the same method.
