43 Villas Artenara is a pretty, well maintained villa which sleeps 4. The sun terrace and garden at the front have panoramic views to the south down to the sea, marina and golf courses. At the back are an atttractive, secure private courtyard garden and a shared pool with childrens paddling pool, accessed from the front of the villa. A number of bars and 2 supermarkets are nearby and it is a 15 minute walk down to the town of Caleta de Fueste with its excellent chioce of bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is wide, safe, with golden sands and ideal for families.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Discount for longer lets can be arranged. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on booking, the balance is due 6 weeks before date of arrival.
Changeover day
Changeover day can be flexible. Guests are asked to leave by 10am on the day of departure if other guests are arriving that day, in which case access may not be possible before 3pm. This is to allow time for preparation and cleaning.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 has a double bed, fitted wardrobe, and a fan over the bed. Patio doors lead out to the pretty private rear garden. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, fitted wardrobe and fan over the bed with window onto rear garden. |

| Kitchen: | The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, juicer and citrus juicer, iron, ironing board, and microwave. There is a cool box and ice blocks. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room has patio doors opening to the terrace with views over the town and down to the harbour. 2 sofas, TV, video, DVD player, freeview, a good selection of books, DVDs, videos and games. There are speakers for ipod/MP3 players or laptops. |

All bedlinen and bathroom towels and beach towels are provided for guests during their stay. Weekly maid service is also included and a weekly change of all bed linen and towels. An English speaking management company are available for help and advice. |

Notes on accommodation
Wi-Fi is available at an additional cost of €15 per week, this can be arranged to be activated upon booking, please let us know before your holiday if you would like this. There is also a hairdryer for your use.
Outside
Access to shared swimming pool childrens pool. Also pretty private rear garden and access to a secure outside area where washing can be hung to dry.
Coast/Beach
The main beach in Caleta is gently shelving with golden sands; the clean, shallow waters make it an ideal location for families. To the south of the town there are several beautiful coves. Fuerteventura is famous for its golden, and black sand beaches, many of which have small cafes or restaurants serving fresh fish and other local dishes. There's a variety of walks, along the shore, on rocks or cliffs. Inland the landscape is spectacular with sand dunes, extinct volcanoes and palm groves.
Golf
Fuerteventura's main Golf course is a 5 minute drive away, and was home to the Spanish Open in April 2004. The 18-hole course is a par 71. A round of golf costs about EUR40 and golf buggies are available for hire. Despite Fuerteventura's almost constant sunshine and little rain, the golf course is beautiful and green. The winds provide a challenge for all golfers. The golf course also boasts a 5 star clubhouse, the Elba Palace Golf Resort Hotel, which also has a pro shop, a resident PGA professional, a driving range, chipping area, practice bunker and putting green. A second golf course, La Salinas is now open and is just next door from the Fuerteventura Golf course this also offers a great variety and equally impressive facilities.
Travel
The airport in Fuerteventura is in the capital Puerto del Rosario. Caleta is a 10 minute drive from away and the villa is easy to find. Car hire is available at the airport, our family recommends Top Car AutoReisen. Taxis are also available for about EUR10.

About the owner
The property is owned by my Mother, my Sister and I and was bought brand new in 2004. We all live and work in the UK and spend some of our holidays in Fuerteventura. Calleta is a great place for families and we are just a short walk from the beach and the town centre and the communal pool is just a short step over the back wall. The Island has something to offer everyone and is pretty relaxed.
