Accessibility
Suitable for wheelchair users as villa is all on one level. There are two small steps up to the entrance gate from the walkway and there is a step onto the sun terrace. Walkway to the villa is on the flat so no steep hills to climb.
Outside
The fully tiled pool is of a good size and there are roman steps into the pool. A pool cover for retaining heat. Patio furniture sufficient for six persons and patio table and chairs for alfresco dining with benefit of sun awning if required.
Coast/Beach
Callao Salvaje has a natural beach cove within 5 mins walk of the villa. However, a new man made beach is due to commence construction to be ready in about 18 mths time (this construction will not be heard or seen from the villa so holiday will not be marred by any building works). The fantastic man made beach of Fanabe and Playa de Las Americas are only 10 mins drive away.
Golf
The villa is ideally situated for a number of golf courses with the very prestigious Abama Golf course only 10 mins drive away on the road to Playa San Juan and Adeje Golf is also only 10 mins drive away on the road to La Caleta.
Special interest holidays
There are many excursions available in Tenerife and apart from the usual activities of water parks, zoos, theme parks and parrot parks there are specialist activities which can be arranged ie diving, paragliding, water skiing, walking, quad bike safaris, beach buggy safaris, fishing and sailing.
Travel
Nearest airport is 30 mins drive away. Taxis are readily available at the airport or car hire can be obtained at the airport or we can arrange car hire prior to your departure. Callao Salvaje is a village type resort and the villa is only a short walk to the amenities so car not essential. Bus excursions are readily available and Callao Salvaje has a regular public bus service.
Distances
Callao Salvaje is ideally situated for visiting all areas - only 10 mins drive from the more tourist areas of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos. The motorway connection for Santa Cruz and Puerta de la Cruz is only 10 mins drive away and easily accessible.
Further details
Callao Salvaje has everything one could need on a holiday, numerous supermarkets, a good selection of restaurants, three banks, excursions and money change shops, retail shops, doctor's surgery, pharmacy, DVD hire shop. Tennis courts, gymnasium in local hotel. Bars of all types - those with entertainment for the night owls and peaceful bars with sunset views for those who just wish to chill out. Most bars and restaurants in Callao Salvaje face the ocean.
Booking notes
20% deposit on booking to reserve the accommodation. Rental balance 2 months prior to departure date. Can be paid into UK bank account or Tenerife euro account. £250 refundable damage bond may be requested.
