The apartment is privately owned, situated on the edge of Los Cristianos in the upmarket area of Oasis-Del-Sur, on a small, friendly, private complex. It is furnished to a high standard and has been fully refurbished. 15-20 mins walk into central Los Cristianos with beaches and plenty of shops, bars and international restaurants. The complex has a heated swimming pool with a separate, large, elevated sun terrace for sunbathing and full sunshine all day, sunbeds are free. There is an excellent small pool bar where they serve an extensive range of hot and cold snacks, ice-creams, drinks etc. The apartment is on the third (top) floor and the roof terrace leading from the second bedroom allows you to have private sunbathing. There is satellite TV with BBC1/2, ITV, C4, Sky sports 1/2 and a second TV and video player is in the upstairs bedroom. The complex is very peaceful and friendly but you have plenty of entertainment within a short walking distance.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, although main flight days from the UK are Tuesdays and Fridays. Earliest check in time is 3pm. You will have to vacate the apartment by 10.30am. This can be flexible depending on the availability of the apartment.

Accessibility
I am sorry the apartment is not suitable for people with mobility problems due to the stairs up to the apartment.
Outside
Leading from the lounge you have a balcony with table and chairs, an awning blind for shade. Leading from the upstairs bedroom you have a larger roof terrace with further table, chairs, sunbeds, parasol for private sunbathing.
Golf
Tenerife is one of the most popular destinations in Europe for golf with 5 championship courses open to the public. Apart from one they are all within 20 mins taxi drive from the apartment.
Special interest holidays
Local activities include surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, cycling, horse riding, golf, wind surfing, water skiing, mountaineering, paragliding.
Travel
The airport is 15kms away and is called Tenerife Sur, it takes about 20 mins at a charge of around 25 euros.
Distances
Los Cristianos is a 10-15 minute walk, taxis to and from town charge anything between 4-5 euros. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Further details
Los Cristianos, once a small fishing village, still retains its charm, and is a delightful place to stay. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars along the promenade. In the town there is a picturesque square with some excellent shops, it also boasts a popular Sunday market. It is an ideal destination for families and couples of all ages, who appreciate the terrific all year round climate with temperatures rarely dropping below 70F. There is a regular ferry that takes you to the islands of La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma or you could take one of the great variety of excursions eg. see the Volcanic Mount Teide the highest mountain in Spain. There is a fantastic water park which is ideal for the children and adults alike with a free bus which picks up in the local areas. There are various boat trips from the harbour to watch the whales and dolphins and also a number of fishing trips. The holiday has something for everyone. Los Diamantes: This complex is designed over 3 separate phases, each phase having its own private swimming pool, and sunbathing terraces. Los Diamantes also has an on-site supermarket and 2 poolside bars both serving snacks and hot food. Within 300m there are a number of excellent bars and restaurants.

Rates are for 2-5 people. A £100 per week, non-returnable deposit is payable on booking and the balance of your holiday is required 8 weeks prior to departure. Collection of key on arrival. Full payment required for late bookings and special promotions. Rates shown are weekly but please feel free to contact me for longer-term rates.
