This beautiful detached Country House is in the traditional and picturesque countryside village of Maguez, Haria the valley of a thousand palms. This gives you the chance to discover a wonderful place to holiday and experience the true Lanzarote life style. This self catering house comprises of 2 bedrooms on the top floor with a wooden terrace and a bathroom. The terrace boasts spectacular mountain and village views. The 3rd bedroom is on the ground floor along with a guest toilet. The house has been fully restored with great care and has the original workings and mill stones incorporated within its living space. Its living area is light and airy with two glass arch doors making it open plan through to the dining area. Its independent kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge freezer etc. This property has a mature walled garden with Hot Tub, BBQ, Palms and Fig Tree.

Outside
This property has a mature walled private garden with fruit and palm trees. The BBQ is set on the terrace and there is garden furniture and sun loungers. The hot tub is in the garden where you can relax and take in wonderful mountain views.
Coast/Beach
The house is 5km from the sea and close by are fantastic beaches that are child friendly. The neighbouring village of Arrieta boasts one of the best family beaches on the island which has a tapas beach bar and restaurant, toilets and shower facilities. This is a stunning location to enjoy the unusual black sands and the scenic mountain landscape of rural Lanzarote. The coast has some wonderful walks which are easly accessible.
Golf
The local 18 hole golf course is in Costa Teguise aprox 20 mins drive away. It is well kept and is in a fantastic setting of thousands of palm trees.
Special interest holidays
The village of Maguez near the valley of a thousand palms Haria is a great base for walking, mountain biking, bird watching holidays. There is spectacular countryside all around, mountains, volcanoes and caves.
Travel
The nearest airport is Arrecife about 20km away and the nearest ferry port 20km, a hire car is recommended for guests staying at this accommodation. The roads on the island are all good and well made.
Distances
Maguez is a great base from which to explore the island, with the Jameos del Agua cave, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Rio View and Green Caves being only 10 mins drive. The neighbouring village of Haria is 2 kms away where there is a Saturday morning local craft market, this is a must!. Another place of interest is the historic village of Teguise, where you can take a stroll through the meandering lanes and watch local artists at work or visit the Sunday market, all this is only a 15 mins drive.

Maguez has the beauty of being a Canarian rural farming village along with all amenities nearby, ie. Restaurants, supermarkets, bakers, sea front tapas bars etc. If you go a little further afield you can soon discover the island of Lanzarote has many activities to offer cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing, hand gliding, pot-holing, quad trekking and all water sports.
