Villa Madrina is situated in the exclusive area of Faro Park, in the relatively quiet and unspoilt fishing village of Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. This beautiful, executive villa is available for families and couples to rent throughout the year. The villa has two bedrooms and is spacious, light and airy with cool marble floors throughout. Furnishings are to a high standard providing an excellent level of comfort. Villa Madrina benefits from an extremely large sun terrace with secluded private pool and attractive landscaped gardens planted with exotic palms, cacti and shrubs. Although quietly located, Villa Madrina is only 2 minutes walk from the local bakery, shop, bars and restaurants, 5 minutes from the sea and a few minutes drive from the nearest beach. Villa Madrina is an excellent choice for a totally relaxing holiday. Many of our guests return time after time which in itself is a testimonial to the quality and privacy that you will find at Villa Madrina.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover day. The villa will be available for your use by 2pm. Please vacate by 10am on your departure day. These times may be negotiable.

Bedrooms: The large en-suite master bedroom overlooks the pool and sun terrace.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds plus an additional folding bed. Both bedrooms have floor to ceiling teak wardrobes plus additional drawer space providing ample storage.
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom with bath/shower, wc.
Main bathroom has a wonderful walk-in shower plus wc.
Both bathrooms are marble throughout.
Kitchen: Archways lead through to the beautifully fitted dark oak kitchen with a solid teak breakfast bar, an electric oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, cutlery and crockery.
Utility Room: Located in the separate utility room are the washing machine, clothes airer, iron and ironing board.
Living Rooms: The comfortable lounge with its cool high ceilings has cream leather sofas, Sky TV providing a wide range of English channels, CD/DVD player, plus a selection of books, board games and DVDs. Patio doors open out on to the sun terrace.
Other: The large wooden table and seating in the dining area is large enough for the whole family plus a few friends and is perfect for ‘al fresco’ dining.

The villa is cleaned weekly. A mid-week clean can be arranged at a small charge. Quality bedding and towels with the exception of beach towels are provided.
The pool is cleaned twice a week to ensure that the water quality remains in peak condition.

Notes on accommodation
Villa Madrina has an adjoining self contained one bedroomed apartment offering spacious and luxurious accommodation for a further three or four people and is available some weeks of the year. Guests always have exclusive use of the patio and pool. We ask you not to smoke whilst inside the villa. Couples and families only please. A welcome pack including wine awaits your arrival.

Outside
Quality sun loungers, poolside table and chairs, together with an Indonesian style table and chairs have been provided for use on the extensive sun terrace so that guests may enjoy the sun all day from dawn til dusk. An exclusively designed wall surrounds the villa and carefully planted gardens all contribute to maximise your privacy for that all relaxing holiday.

Coast/Beach
It is a 5 minute stroll to the sea and the paved coastal promenade that leads into Playa Blanca. This walk offers wonderful views across the bay and the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura.
The nearest beach, Flamingo Beach is less than five minutes drive away. It is gently sloping and ideal for children. There are a number of other beaches close by including the breath-taking Papagayo beaches or Dorada beach with its pedaloes and water sports.

Golf
20 minutes to the nearest golf course at Tias and a little further to the golf course near Costa Teguise. Golf clubs are available for use at the villa - please organise prior to departure.

Travel
Arrecife airport is approximately 25 minutes drive (taxi - approx. 35 euros).
Care hire is recommended in order to explore this spectacular island of Lanzarote.

Distances
Local places of interest include El Golfo, famous for its volcanic crater, green lagoon and superb fish restaurants. Timanfaya National Park - unique spectacular landscape, rare plants, camel treks. Papagayo Beaches - each with its own characteristics. Yaiza - one of the most beautiful villages in Lanzarote.

Further details
Local amenities 2 minutes walk away include bars, cafe bars, restaurants, bakery and supermarkets. A 3-4 minute drive takes you to the centre of Playa Blanca with a great choice of bars and restaurants, the newly constructed Marina Rubicon, the old harbour and splendid views across the bay.

Booking notes
Reservations will be held for 10 days.
A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.
The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the booking.

“We have just returned from a week in Villa Madrina and all I can say is that it just was not long enough!!!. The villa is very confortable with everything that you may need, but the outside patio's and pool area are outstanding. We can honestly say it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we have had in a long time and will definitely return again. The week flew by and I now wish we had booked for 10 days. The local area has quite a few nice little bars and a lovely Italian restaurant that was very reasonable.
I would highly recommend this villa if you want a relaxing holiday.
