Villa Cora is a delightful new Canarian country villa on a large 10,000m2 estate set near the traditional, picturesque village of Triquivijate. It is a charming quiet and peaceful location and is within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. The villa is only a short drive from the fabulous sandy beaches and family resort of Caleta de Fuste. Villa Cora offers excellent accommodation for a relaxing holiday and has the benefit of a very large 10.1 x 5.3m heated pool with a spectacular water fall feature, and a safe shallow children’s pool. It also offers a championship full size Private Tennis Court, and mountain bikes. The villa is ideally suitable for couples and families who want executive standards, all amenities and privacy.

Changeover day
Changeover days are normally Wed or Sat. The villa will be available from 3.00pm on the day of your arrival and we request that you vacate by 10.00am on the day of your departure. We will endeavour to accommodate all guests on arrival/departure times.

Notes on accommodation
Villa Cora provides the perfect get away from it all. It is ideally suited to families large and small. The villa has been commissioned to a very high standard, offering top quality fixtures and fittings. Most of the furniture is beautiful teak wood from Indonesia, and Mosquito blinds have been inbuilt into the window frames in the hallway, kitchen, and utility rooms in order to provide a healthier alternative to air conditioning. There is a secure wall around the property offering privacy and security especially for young children.
Outside
Villa Cora was designed and commissioned for outdoor living, catering for families, nature enthusiasts and sports enthusiasts alike. There is Private Tennis Court and you can enjoy the panoramic mountain views in the background as you play. You can view the tennis action from the open courtyard outside bedroom 4. The extra large 10 x 5.5 meter private pool is a bespoke custom curvy design with natural volcanic rock coping stones. It has a wonderful unique inbuilt waterfall cascade feature that creates a relaxing tranquil sound and visual effect when you are in the vicinity of the pool area. There is a separate 2.5m children`s pool with a depth of .5 m to keep the children happy. The pool has a solar cover and can be heated by an electric pool heater if required. There is a custom built BBQ area with high quality teak outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. For sunbathing 8 quality pool loungers are available. There is a table football game on the sun terrace to keep the children happy.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are at Caleta de Fuste, just 15 min drive from Villa Cora. There you will find 2 manmade lagoon beaches, with fine golden sand which are safe for swimming. You will also find a stylish restaurant and bar that is located off the coast between the beaches, reached via a wooden bridge. The large bay and beach of Caleta de Fuste can be reached in 15 mins by car. Here you will find a safe swimming area, water sports, diving, snorkelling, sailing and jet skiing.
Golf
There are 2 excellent 18 hole Golf courses both within a short drive from Villa Cora at the resort of Caleta de Fuste. The Campo de Golf course hosted the Spanish Open in 2004, and the new La Salinas Golf course offers an exciting challenge. Both courses excel for there simplicity and beauty. On the courses you will find beautiful natural features such as large lakes with streams that meander between them, water fountains, several bridges, palm trees, and footpaths, making them picturesque and relaxing courses to play on. Both courses will present a challenge to the most serious golfer as well as offering an ideal place to improve your golf game if you are less experienced. Professional tuition is available in several languages. Both Clubhouse include a large pro-shop, changing rooms with lockers, club storage area, and renowned restaurants Buggies, trolleys and two classes of clubs can be hired.
Special interest holidays
Villa Cora offers a great opportunity to stay in a villa that has its own Private Tennis Court. It is a full size championship court with stunning panoramic mountain views. There is also the opportunity to go Horse Riding at the local equestrian centre. Here they offer tuition to children and adults in several and have a large selection of horses. You can go trekking on the local mountain paths or try jumping in the purpose built paddock. The equestrian centre is just a short walk from Villa Cora. Mountain Biking is also available at Villa Cora. There are some beautiful tracks and trails that offer superb Mountain Biking action. We have good quality full suspension mountain bikes available for hire with the property. We find that they are a great way to explore the island.
Travel
Fuerteventura Airport is approximately 17 km away from Villa Cora. Hiring a car when staying at Villa Cora is recommended. The taxi service on the island is efficient and very reasonably priced. We do not take responsibility for any loss, injury or accident whether personal or otherwise suffered by you while staying at the villa and recommend that you take out suitable insurance before travelling to the island.

Villa Cora is situated just outside the small village of Triquivijate. It is just a short drive (12 km) from the beautiful resort / town of Caleta de Fuste.

Fuerteventura is simply a wonderful place, offering enormous sand dunes, beautiful vast white beaches and a sub-tropical climate. The island attracts sports enthusiasts from all over the world for its excellent windsurfing, surfing, diving and golf. Villa Cora is located near the peaceful Canarian village of Triquivijate. Triquivijate is centrally located in the island which makes it a perfect base for exploring. There is a wonderful Equestrian centre for Horse riding, and a Bird Sanctuary {ideal for bird watchers} all just 5 min walk from Villa Cora. Triquivijate offers a well stocked grocery shop, 3 bars and 3 family friendly restaurants. The prestigious resort of Caleta de Fuste is only a 10 min drive, offering 2 excellent 18 hole Golf Courses. The resort of Caleta de Fuste offers a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. It has a large, shallow beach, perfect for children and a picturesque marina with a selection of excellent water excursions. The Atlantico Commercial Centre, which is located at the entrance to Fuerteventura Golf Resort, is home to a Bi-Lingual Cinema, Bowling Alley, Amusement Arcade, Solbank, Newsagents, Hair Salon and several other Boutiques, Shops, Bars and Restaurants and is just a 15 minute drive from Villa Cora. The large Eurospar housed within the Atlantico Centre is sure to cater for all your grocery requirements. The 4 Star Elba Sara Hotel, 5 Star Sheraton Hotel and the newly opened 4 Star Elba Carlota Hotel are all located adjacent to the Atlantico Centre. The 5 Star Elba Palace Hotel is located on the golf course and houses the Clubhouse. A McDonalds Restaurant and Petrol Station are also located at the entrance to the Golf Resort. The newly opened Los Rotondas Shopping Centre in Puerto del Rosario is the ultimate shopping experience and well worth a visit. Both the Baku Water Park (located in Corralejo / north) and the Oasis Park Zoo (located in La Lajita / south) provide a great day out.
Booking notes
A 30% non-refundable booking deposit is payable within 5 working days to secure your booking and the balance is to be paid no later than 6 weeks prior to departure. Baby chairs and cots are free of charge. Food welcome pack is supplied free of charge. Children less than 2 years are not charged - Free. Tennis Rackets are available for hire for use on the tennis court. Mountain bikes are also available for hire. Internet access inc. computer is available for a fee of £ 15 per week.

We have just returned from the Villa Cora in Fuerteventura after a 2 week stay and can highly recommend this property. In conclusion, there are lots more to say about this property, such as the great welcome from the owners, the personal tennis court, BBQ facility and separate adjoining annex accommodation, but where do you end. We would highly recommend staying at the Villa Cora.

Total peace and tranquility in magnificent surroundings. The villa is superb, clean, roomy, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Vincent and Cecilia have thought of everything.
