Prices are for the property per week in euros up to 4 people, this includes linen, towels and a welcome pack. For 5 or more people charges are an extra 75 euros per person per week.
The shared pool and chill out area and gardens services the 3 dwellings on the estate, this can be private to your house for an additional 210 euros per week, for this you will have exclusive use of the entire pool area.

Notes on accommodation
You enter the 30,000m estate via an electric gate and pass the first independent dwelling, go on up the drive to the beautifully restored house which is set in a fabulous location overlooking the beach. It boasts mature gardens and panoramic sea and mountain views. The estate runs on wind and solar power and is a unique example of sustainable living. There are 24 solar panels, batteries and 2 large windmills. This rural location is a perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the country with the added beauty of being next to the beach. The property is child friendly and special touches include guests being welcome to eggs from our free range hens, a play area and trampoline for children, table tennis, a sand football pitch, 4 bicycles and even a resident donkey.
This property in Arrieta is a great place from which to discover the real Lanzarote countryside, walking or mountain biking, hiking up volcanoes, discovering caves whilst enjoying spectacular sea and mountain views.

Outside
The house has its own terrace, sun loungers, BBQ, and outdoor 'breeze house' dining area with thatched roof and sea views. For our younger guests there is a trampoline, Childrens play park, and swing. There is also on site chickens and Molly our reident donkey. There are mature exotic gardens including Mango, Banana, Guava and Lime fruit trees and bushes (a bonus if you are here in the right season!)
The shared solar heated pool area consists of a 10m lap pool and jet pool. There is a Polynesian style day bed with thatched roof beside this is a large open entertaining suite with a 2nd kitchen, dining table, Moroccan style seating area, and a guest toilet with shower. This area services the 3 dwellings but can be private at an additional cost of 150 Pounds per week.

Coast/Beach
There are some wonderful beaches on this part of the coast. Arrieta's black sand beach is only 5 minute walk away, very child friendly and great for surfing or just playing in the waves. There is a beach tapas bar, a children's play park and toilets and shower facilities. There are also some wonderful lagoon style white sandy beaches on the route north to Orzola within a short driving distance.

Golf
The 18 hole golf course is in Costa Teguise about 20 minutes drive away is set at the foot of an old volcano, surrounded by 3000 palms, cactus and beautiful views to the sea. Group or individual classes are available from one of the two golf professionals.

Special interest holidays
Lanzarote is ideal for water sports and boasts a good range. Windsurfing - this is available from 2 of the nearest points to the property either on Arrieta Beach just in front of the house or at Jameos Del Agua. Costa Teguise being just 15 mins away has numerous places where you can hire equipment and have a great sail.
Sea Kayak - This is also available in Costa Teguise.
Diving - There are numerous places for diving on the island the nearest to the propery is at Arrieta Village.
Kite Surfing - is increasing growing here and Famara beach is the main place to sail here.
Surfing - best waves are either off East Coast Arrieta beach or Punta Mujeres or West Coast at Famara. You can have lessons and hire equipment at Famara.
Sailing - For a day out sailing the prestigious Puerto Calero offers either private yacht or speed boat charters or a day out on a 80ft Catarmaran.
Fishing - You can always go fishing either from the pier at Arrieta or go out on a boat from Puerto Calero.

Travel
Arrecife is the Island's airport and Arrieta is situated about 25km away thus car hire is essential for theis property.
There are many charter and scheduled airlines that fly from the UK to Arrecife including BA, Easyjet, Monarch, Thomson, Thomas Cook and First Choice.

Distances
This property is a great base from which to explore the island, with the Jameos del Agua, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Rio, Green Caves and the Valley of a Thousand Palms being only 10 minutes drive away where there is a Saturday morning local craft market. The historic village of Teguise, where you can take a stroll through the meandering lanes and watch local artists at work or visit the Sunday Market is only a 15 mins drive away and the Island's capital only a 30 mins drive.
