The apartment is situated on the private Atlantico complex with 3 swimming pools, tennis court, children's playground and underground car parking. It is located in a peaceful area of Costa del Silencio, yet it is only a short distance from 5 golf courses, and also the beaches and nightlife of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. Restaurants and supermarkets are a short walk away as is the Canarian fishing village of Las Galletas.

Changeover day
There is no preferred changeover day. We aim to be as flexible as possible in order to accommodate your requirements. Apartment should be vacated by 12 noon on day of departure, but can be extended if the apartment is not required for new guests.

Notes on accommodation
Excellent access for wheelchairs. No Stairs to negotiate.
Silencio is a flat area of Tenerife and therefore excellent for walking without having to walk up large inclines. Smoking only permmited on balcony.

Outside
There are small well maintained areas of garden around the complex. There are 3 swimming pools one of which is ideal for small children, there is also a safe children's playground with swings and slides. Lifeguard is on duty. 24 hour security There is an all weather tennis court available for use. There is an underground parking space available if hiring a car. The apartment is very secure with security grills on all the windows and doors.
Coast/Beach
The sea is only 5 minutes walk with good fishing from the rocks. The nearest beach is in Las Galletas which is a 15 minute walk.
Golf
The apartment is close to 5 golf courses. Amarilla Bay and Golf del Sur are within 10-15 minutes drive. Los Palos is a 9 hole course which is only 5 minutes away. Las Americas and Adeje which host major championships are 20-25 mins from the apartment. Our local British contact in Silencio can cater for your individual requirements, including pick up and drop off plus club hire. Excellent service guaranteed.
Travel
The nearest airport is Tenerife South (Reina Sofia), approx. 15 mins drive. Reliable local British contact available for transfers. Car hire is available from the rental shops within Silencio and is cheap.
Excursions can be booked from the tourist booths or Club Marina complex which is opposite Atlantico.
Buses run approx. every 30 mins to the larger towns of Los Cristianos and Las Americas and are cheap at just over 1 euro per person.
Distances
Las Galletas is only a 5 mins drive or 15 mins walk and has excellent restaurants on the beach front. Los Cristianos and Las Americas are approx 15-20 mins drive away and provide a larger variety of shops. Las Americas is also home to the newly opened Siam Park, a theme park owned by the owners of Loro Parque.
Further details
Guests are able to use the facilities at Club Marina which is opposite Atlantico. Light entertainment is provided on an evening and activities are held during the daytime around the pool area. There are a variety of restaurants all within a short walking distance. Supermarkets are also close by and there is a shopping area called El Chaparral.
Cash machines available on the main stretch of Silencio and numerous exchange facilities as well. There are lots of places of interest and activities to do in Tenerife. Mount Teide is the highest mountain in the Canaries and is a live volcano. Loro Parque is a superb park in Puerto de la Cruz. Aqua Park is in Las Americas for a splashing time for adults and children alike. Markets are held in Los Cristianos (Sunday) and Las Americas (Thursday and Saturday). Boating trips to see Whales and Dolphins are also available as are visits to the island of La Gomera and the village of Los Gigantes. Snorkelling and Scuba Diving is available - just ask at the Viking Bar in Silencio. More information is available on the leaflet sent to you when booking the apartment.
Booking notes
Booking deposit of £50 payable by cheque within 7 days of reservation of the apartment. Balance is payable one month prior to departure date. Keys to the apartment and information leaflet will be sent at least 2 weeks prior to your departure date. If you require assistance with flight bookings and airport transfer from Tenerife South, we will gladly assist you.
