The Living Room
|
|
This is a beautifully furnished 2 bedroom apartment in the residential area of Costa Antigua. The property is a lovely home from home. With 2 balconies, (one slightly bigger than other). The larger of the two balconies is large enough for those evening BBqs and those social times in the sun. The property has 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin room. The house is fully equipped. Pubs, restaurants, supermarkets etc are all in the immediate vicinity. There are two golf courses within a 5 minute drive, one of which is a championship course, home to the 2004 Spanish Open. There is a beautiful coastal path for walking/cycling (also where you can spot the friendly chipmonks) to the nearby town of Caleta where you can find many more shops, bars and restaurants as well as a host of activities on offer from fishing to watersports to boat trips and bowling.

Coast/Beach
Coast within a 5min stroll and nearest beach is in Caleta which is 20 minute walk along the coastal walkway or 5 minute drive (€3 in a taxi). There are more beaches in Fuerteventura than there are days in the year. Should you decide to hire a car and explore a little more of the island, you will find its a beach lovers paradise, there are beaches with pure white sand as far as the eye can see.
Golf
There are two golf courses within a 5 minute drive, one of which is a championship course, home to the 2004 Spanish Open.
Travel
The property is located just 10 minutes drive from the airport. Taxis are easy to find and cheap to use, apartment to Caleta 3 euros. Buses are frequent and also cheap to use, and there is a free bus to the local shopping mall. I would however recommend you hire a car to appreciate how beautiful this island really is. Contact owner for suggested airlines that fly UK- Fuerteventura.
Distances
The nearest main town is Caleta De Fuste which is a 20 minute stroll away or 3 euros in a taxi. The capital, Puerto Del Rosario is 15 minutes away by car. Half an hour by car to the famous sand dunes and the busy resort of Corralejo where you can catch a ferry to Lanzarote for a day trip.
Further details
We live by the complex and are available if you want any help or local information. There is an African Market on Saturday morning and is always full of vibrant characters and a true chance to show off your bartering skills. If you choose not to hire a car, then excursions can be organised from town and there are several on offer, including trips to the endless beaches in the South, the dunes in the North, La Lajita Zoo and Botanical Garden, camel rides, waterpark, catamaran and deep sea fishing boat trips.
