Outside
The villa has a garden with a selection of plants, a patio area with table and chairs and a large roof terrace. From the roof terrace you can enjoy views out to sea and over to Fuerteventura. There is a large communal swimming pool which slopes from both ends so is suitable for children and a tennis court. Tennis racquets are available in the villa.
Coast/Beach
There are a selection of beaches only a 5 minute drive away, including the famous Papagayo beaches. There is a promenade that stretches from the lighthouse (about a 15 minute walk from the villa) to the new marina.
Special interest holidays
You can enjoy a walk up the nearby Montana Roja (red mountain) where you have superb views over the village of Playa Blanca.
Travel
The airport at Lanzarote is Arrecife, this is about a 30 minute drive up the LZ2. A car is recommended to enjoy your stay at Shangrila Park.
Distances
The village and the harbour are only a 5 minute drive away. As Lanzarote is not too large an island you can visit any places of interest easily in a day trip.
Further details
Most of the supermarkets in Playa Blanca stay open until 10pm each night. You will find a good selection of shops and restaurants in the village, many of the restaurants have sea views. There are many things to do in Lanzarote such as a visit to Timanfaya (fire mountain), the green caves, El Golfo and the new marina Rubicon at Playa Blanca
