This ground floor apartment is conveniently located in a secluded location and within a small quiet complex, 5 minutes walk from the nearest beach and 10-15 minutes away from the main shopping and restaurant areas. The apartment is situated within an enclosed terrace adjacent to the large communal pool. The interior is newly finished to a high standard. So whether you want to laze in the sun or be more active this complex is an ideal place to stay.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds and payment is by cheque, bank draft or electronic transfer.
Euros are also accepted by agreement and only by electronic transfer.
Discounts available for full weeks if more than 3 weeks are booked.

Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Wednesday although we are prepared to be flexible. Check-out is normally 11.00am & but you could stay later if there is no follow-on let. (Liaise with owner). Check-in is ideally 14:30 but again is flexible.

Accommodation
Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a super king size bed and a security safe. Bedroom 2 has twin beds.
Both bedrooms have a built-in wardrobe, mirror above dressing table/chest drawers and each is fully air conditioned.
A hairdryer is provided for guests use.
Bathrooms: Modern, very bright, fully tiled bathroom with WC, bath with shower, shower curtain and wash basin. Bath and hand towels supplied, beach towels are not.
Kitchen: The kitchen and living room are separated by a breakfast bar. It is stocked with crockery and cutlery is equipped with a 4-
ring hob, full size oven, extractor fan, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster.
Living Rooms: The airy and bright living room has a sofa and easy chair with free satellite TV, DVD (selection of DVDs) and CD/radio. There are coffee tables and an air conditioning unit.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and bath towels are changed weekly and should you stay for more than one week there will be a mid-term clean. Please provide your own beach towels.

Notes on accommodation
We want you to be and feel safe, so we would confirm the following. We have provided 2 ea. smoke alarms, 1 ea. fire blanket & 1 ea. fire extinguisher. The apartment exterior walls & roofs (mostly) are constructed of concrete, the electrics have been checked & we have no gas on site at all. Enjoy!!
Highchairs & cots are available to hire from our housekeeper at an additional charge.
The apartment is ideal for adults and although the small complex is suitable for children of all ages. Supervisory care must be taken due to the large single depth swimming pool. Pets are not allowed.
Sorry smoking is not allowed inside the apartment although the terrace is always accessible.

Outside
The apartment has a private front entrance with small garden. On-site car parking is provided if required. Sliding patio doors lead from the living room onto the terrace. The terrace is covered with a pagoda. We have a large table and umbrella with chairs to seat 6 and 4 sun-loungers. The community allows small disposable BBQs on the terrace however we do ask you to be careful and clear away rubbish. The shared pool is only accessible by the 16 apartments on the complex which makes it private and secure. Sun loungers may also be placed next to the poolside.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is 5 mins walk away and there are a number of small beaches along the coast into the town which are all within a 10-15 mins walk. A 15 mins walk in the opposite direction will take you to the spectacular famous sand dunes. A drive of about 20 mins will take you through a number of small villages to the other side of the island to the resort of El Cotillo, which also has spectacular beaches, bays and a number of restaurants and bars.

Golf
The 18-hole championship golf course in Caleta de Fuste 'Campo del Golf' is only 30 minutes by car and with another golf course in construction close to the capital Puerto de Rosario, golf is well catered for on the island.

Special interest holidays
Water sports are very popular in Corralejo - every year hundreds of surfers, windsurfers and divers descend on the island. During July the island is host to the world windsurfing, speed and slalom events. Apart from the world famous beaches in Corralejo, around the island there are many new attractions inviting tourists to discover different aspects of the island's landscape and culture, such as Betancuria Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography and Tefia Craft Village to name but a few. There is also a new water park open in Corralejo. Ideal for sun worshippers on some of the best beaches in the world!

Travel
Cheap flights available from UK airports: airflights.co.uk, thomascook.com, firstchoice.co.uk, XL., Monarch airlines, Iberia via Madrid. Cheap Direct flights from Dublin (Ryanair. Tues, Thurs & Sat. all year). The airport at Puerto Del Rosario is 30 - 40 mins drive. Collection at airport can be arranged (approx 30 Euros ea. way). Car hire is available at the airport. Standard Taxi's from airport to the apartment approx 50 Euros ea. way. Holiday Taxis have a shuttle service.

Distances
It takes 10-15 minutes to stroll into Corralejo town, either along a beach path or the avenida. The nearest mini-market is 2 minutes walk, here they have daily fresh bread and fruit/veg. The nearest restaurant is again 2 minutes walk. The port of Corralejo is about 20 minutes walk, from here you can take the ferry over to Lanarote for the day or to Lobos island.

Further details
Corralejo has managed to retain its original charm and atmosphere yet caters for all ages and there's a wide variety of things to do, from watersports, tennis, glass bottom boat trips, ferry trips to Lanzarote, Jeep Safaris, island tours, mountain biking, motorbike tours etc. Corralejo also offers a wide variety of excellent bars and restaurants there's plenty on offer to keep you well entertained.
There is a small supermarket close by and a bus stop which will take you out and about should you not wish to hire a car.
The Baku water park is 5 mins. walk and market area with ten pin bowling.

Payment: A non-refundable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure your rental dates and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. Should the booking be made within 8 weeks of arrival the full amount is due to secure the rental dates.
