Los Patios (Sleeps 11, 5 Bedrooms)

The main bedroom has an extra large canopied double bed and a shower room with WC and wash hand basin en-suite. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are interconnecting and have a four poster bed and two singles respectively. Bedroom 4 has twin beds. Bedroom 5 has three single beds. A covered terrace leads to the second bathroom with full bath WC and wash hand basin. NB bedrooms 2 3 and 5 and the second bathroom are accessed from the central courtyard. There is a further cloakroom with WC and an outside shower on the pool terrace. The spacious sitting room is comfortably furnished with sofas, easy chairs and occasional furniture and includes satellite TV, video, DVD and CD players The large country kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped including gas/electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee-maker, kettle, toaster etc.

La Bodega (Sleeps 2/3, 1 Bedroom)

French doors from the front patio open into the original bodega, now a large sitting room with high wooden ceilings and comfortably furnished with a large sofa, easy chair and occasional furniture, TV, DVD, video players and cassette/CD player. The sitting room leads into an open plan dining and kitchen area, fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle , toaster etc. An arched doorway leads into a spacious bedroom with an impressive period style four poster double bed. There is a bath room en-suite with bath (with shower over) WC and wash hand basin. Double doors from the bedroom lead directly on to the pool terrace.

Notes on accommodation
Bedrooms 1 and 4 in Los Patios are in the main part of the house with bathroom, sitting room and kitchen and so make an ideal space for 2-4 persons, without using the bedrooms around the courtyard. Alternatively Los Patios can be combined with La Bodega to provide accommodation for up to 15 persons.

Accessibility
Neither property suitable for wheelchair users.

Outside
Los Patios doors lead from the kitchen onto a covered terrace overlooking the pool and garden with further eating area. The large (10x3.25m) solar heated swimming pool is surrounded by sun bathing terrace with sun beds and patio furniture. This area is totally secluded and is designed in courtyard style with flower beds filled with semi-tropical flowers and succulents; there is also an outside loo, a large BBQ and a pool table. To the front of the house is the internal courtyard which forms an ideal alternative for alfresco dining.

La Bodega is accessed from the bedroom the lovely (8x3.5m.) swimming pool is surrounded by an ample sunbathing terrace bordered by beds of semi-tropical flowers. Sunbeds, patio furniture, BBQ and a shaded area complete the poolside facilities. The rear terrace is very secluded so affording complete privacy for sunbathing. The front patio has a distant sea view, bench seating and is shaded by a large eucalyptus tree.

Coast/Beach
10 mins drive to the beaches of Puerto del Carmen, which are numerous and vary from little rocky coves to huge expanses of white sand. The black beaches of El Golfo and the west coast are at approx 25 mins while Papagayo (considered the best on the island) is approx. a 35 min drive.

Golf
Costa Teguise 20 mins drive 18 holes. Tias 10 mins drive (opening 2008?).

Special interest holidays
Highly recommended are the Cesar Manrique designed sites of special interest: Fire Mountain, Jameos del Agua, Cactus Garden, Manrique's house etc. Sports activities include hang gliding, horse riding, deep sea fishing, deep sea diving and Canarian wrestling (as a spectator).

Travel
Arrecife airport is 10 mins away by car. While not absolutely essential a car is recommended.

Distances
Los Patios and La Bodega are in the village of Conil. 5 min walk takes you to the supermarket or the tapas bars. Tias is 5 mins by car and has many restaurants shops banks and a petrol station. The wine growing area of La Geria is a 10 min drive from Conil where there are several bodegas where the local produce may be sampled. Also 10 min drive is the exclusive international marina of Puerto Calero where the fabulous selection of yachts may be viewed while enjoying a meal.

A 20% deposit is required to reserve your requested holiday dates with the balance due a month before travel.
