The bungalow is set in the grounds of Villa Malvasia and has full use of the heated pool, BBQ and outside lounge area, sunbathing terrace, summer house and gardens. The property is one of oldest on the island but has been fully restored four years ago so has all modern amenities. Situated in the wine growing area, and very popular with walkers and cyclists, but is in easy reach by car to all resorts. The village of Tias is 5 minutes by car for all groceries, for the early birds you can call into Antonios for croissants as they open at 6 in the morning. Puerto del Carman which is 10 minutes by car has all the beaches and is one of the main tourist places. But if you are into surfing, no worries, the property is near the beautiful beach of Famara, again 10 minutes in the other direction. Just past that is the old capital of the island, Tequise, which has a market every Sunday, not to be missed for that bargain.

Outside
There are two gardens. Upper garden has the private heated swimming pool, American BBQ with fridge, table for 12 people with a lounge area, sun deck with sun loungers, summer house for reading and taking the view of the vineyards.
Coast/Beach
Distance given in driving time. Farmara beach 15 minutes, long white sand beach, children need to be watched as there is strong undercurrent. Puerto del Carmen, 15 minutes, has long beaches, mainly black sand good for children. Playa Blanca, 20 minutes, again, great beaches and safe for children. Papagayo beach not far with beautiful white beaches not many people. Costa Tequise, 20 minutes with white sand beaches which is a bit windy, good for wind surfing, safe for kids.
Golf
Golf course 20 minutes by car at Costa Tequise.
Travel
Arrecife airport is 10 minutes drive from property, as stated, a car is essential and can be hired from the airport. All clients will be met at the airport and directed to the property.
Distances
There are many places of interest; Playa Blanca, 20 minutes by car, Teguise, the old capital of the island, Puerto del Carmen which has beaches, restaurant, bars and clubs. All these places are within easy reach and no more than 20 minutes away by car from the bungalow.
Further details
Your nearest village is Tias which is 10 minutes away by car where you will find supermarkets, chemist, bars and some good restaurants. Also, a Saturday market for your fruit and veg, but be early as it can get hot. If you are a keen surfer, get yourself down to Famara as there are great waves, but take care with the under currents, again, only 15 minutes drive from us or try windsurfing at Costa Tequise.
