Casa Charwil is located in the quiet area of Costa Papagayo which is a 2 minute drive away from the main resort of Playa Blanca. The nearest beach is a 20 minute walk where you will find a commercial centre which has an international supermarket, bars, shops and restaurants. From here you are on the sea-front promenade where you can walk to the Marina Rubicon and the Centre of Playa Blanca within 10 minutes. The Villa has a gated drive and comprises of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The private, electrically heated pool sits in a high walled garden at the rear of the property. There is a built-in stone bbq and outside seating. The lounge is bright and airy with patio doors leading to pool-side and an internal garden. There is a fully fitted kitchen and solona area which houses the washing machine and dishwasher. The Master Bedroom and Lounge are air-conditioned and the second bedroom has a ceiling fan. The third bedroom is a dedicated childrens' room. A security safe is fitted.

Changeover day
We are happy for our valued guests to arrive on any day of the week and stay for any duration. All we ask if that you arrive no earlier than 2:00pm and vacate by 10:00am although times can be agreed prior to your arrival.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed, bedside tables, fitted wardrobes and patio doors leading to poolside. Bedroom 2 with double bed, bedside tables and fitted wardrobes. There is a ceiling fan. Bedroom 3 is a dedicated children's room with two sets of bunk beds. |
| Bathrooms: | En-suite marble bathroom to bedroom 1 with wc, two sinks and shower over bath. Bathroom 2 is in marble with separate shower cubicle, sink and wc. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob and extractor fan, fridgefreezer, microwave, washing machine, toaster and kettle. It is very well equipped and there are also, plastic knives, forks, plates and cups for the safety of the children. |
| Utility Room: | The Solano is roofed and has a skylight. There is a washing machine and dishwasher, iron, ironing board and hot water boiler. Also, there is a washing line and drying rack. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge is air-conditioned and has patio doors. There is a flatscreen TV with UK channels, DVD player, Games Console, CD player and an IPod Station. There are a good selection of books, CDs, DVDs and games. There is a dining room table and chairs. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All bed linen, towels and beach towels are included for your stay. The pool will be cleaned mid-week and the house-keeper will stop-by. Please be advised that the house-keeper will not undertake any personal washing-up of crockery etc. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is furnished to a very high standard and is a family orientated villa which includes a highchair, travel cot and blankets, childrens loo seat and step. There is a good selection of plastic cutlery, plates and cups in the kitchen and a good selection of childrens books, DVDs and toy box are provided. There is air conditioning in the lounge and master bedroom which also provides heat and there are a number of fans and heaters provided for your use. There is an entryphone system to gain access to the villa and a gated front drive. A security safe is fitted for your holiday valuables.

Accessibility
The property is situated on one level with a sloping front path to gain access to the front door. There is one small step down to the swimming pool area and there are steps which lead upto a roof terrace. The property overall is easily accessible for wheelchair users and door openings are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair.
Outside
There is a private high-walled garden situated at the rear of the villa where sits the 8 X 4m electrically heated swimming pool, with safety rail. Next to poolside are six sun-loungers and a well established garden planted with various pretty flowers and cactus. There is a built in stone barbeque which should satisfy your al-fresco cooking needs and an outside dining table and chairs. A set of steps leads up to the roof terrace where there is another small table and chairs for you to enjoy the mountain views.
Coast/Beach
The villa is a 2 minute drive away from the main resort of Playa Blanca. A 20 minute walk will get you to the nearest beach where there is a commercial centre with supermarket, bars, shops and restaurants. From here you are on the sea-side promenade where you can walk within 10 minutes to the Marina Rubicon with new indoor bowling centre, shops, exclusive restaurants and pitch and putt or 10 minutes in the other direction taking you into the centre of Playa Blanca.
Travel
Car Hire is not essential as the nearest beach, supermarket, bars and restaurants are approximately 20 minute walk away but is recommended if you would like to tour the rest of the island. The airport (Arrecife) is approximately 30 minutes drive and taxis or airport transfers are very easy and reasonably priced. Please contact me if you would like help in arranging transfers or car hire.
Distances
Within the centre of Playa Blanca there are outlets offering various tours and excursions. The public transport is very good and taxis are very cheap and easy to call. At the harbour, you can get a boat or ferry across to Fuerteventura which takes approximately 30 minutes.
Further details
Lanzarote is a unique island with long golden beaches of sand carried on winds from the Sahara. It also has jet black beaches of volcanic sand and a huge National Park untouched by a human foot since the cessation of the volcanoes, that is of course except for the lunar astronauts who prepared for the moon landings on the island!
Some people say the beautiful white beaches of Costa Papagayo which are accessed via a long dirt track (car essential) are the best in Spain!
There is so much to see and do in Lanzarote that it is not possible to list it all here, therefore you will have to come to the island and explore!
This villa is located close to the new up and coming areas of Playa Blanca, whilst this means it is very well located it could mean you have to drive or walk past some areas of development. For your information, our nearest landmark is Sun Tropical where you will find a small supermarket offering fresh bread/milk, newspapers and a small amount of essentials to get you by.
Booking notes
Upon confirmation of booking, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. For late and last minute bookings the full amount will be required.
