Casa Loro is a desirable villa in a superb location in Corralejo Town. It has two large bedrooms and one smaller one thus sleeping up to 6 people. At the rear of the property there is a large covered pergola area and a patio/garden - this is private. It front of the property there is a wall for privacy and to shelter the heated swimming pool. There is also a garden/patio area and private parking for a vehicle (not a necessity). The large roof patio has magnificent views over Corralejo, its harbour and the island of Lanzarote. All the accommodation is on the ground floor and thus the house is suitable for people with mobility problems. Casa Loro is in a quieter part of Corralejo, called Las Casitas yet it is only 150m away from the nearest beach! The Flag and Dunes beaches are a short walk away from Las Casitas. The centre of Corralejo is a kilometre walk along the beach or 1.5km via the Avenue Grandes Playas. Las Casitas is close to local restaurants and supermarkets (300m).

Changeover day
Changeover day is on Wednesdays but consideration will be given to other days, particularly at off peak times.

| Bedrooms: |
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and a chest of drawers. The double doors open onto the patio. Bedroom 2 is of similar size with twin beds and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 3 is smaller with a single and a pull out bed. |
| Bathrooms: |
Bathroom one has a full-sized bath with a shower over, twin hand basins, a bidet and a toilet. Bathroom 2 is slightly smaller with a full size bath/shower, a hand basin and a toilet. Both bathrooms are attractively tiled and are large. |
| Kitchen: |
They comprehensively equipped kitchen runs the full depth of the house and is separate from the lounge/dining room. It has a sink, a full cooker, a four ringed hob and a microwave. There is a dishwasher, a fridge and fridge/freezer. |
| Utility Room: |
There is a covered utility room, adjacent to the kitchen, which houses the washing machine and cleaning equipment. |
| Living Rooms: |
The lounge/dining room is spacious and has seating for 6 at the dining table. There are two leather settees. A 2 and a 3 seater. The ceiling is vaulted. There are extensive cupboards and bookshelves. There is a satellite TV, a DVD and a radio/CD player. |

Notes on accommodation
There are two freestanding electric fans in the house. The master bedroom has a ceiling fan. The vaulted ceiling helps to keep the house cool even in the hottest weather. There are two double opening doors from the lounge to the patio and a further set of double doors from the main bedroom to the patio. Much of this patio is covered by a large pergola, affording shelter from the sun and making alfresco dining a pleasure. The house is well-designed for the Fuerteventuran climate. The patio areas are tiled. Care does need to be taken when the tiles are wet.

Accessibility
Casa Loro has not been adapted or specifically constructed people with mobility problems. It is however of course built on one level, and all the rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Outside
The patio areas have tables and seating for 6 people. There are pool loungers. The garden is well stocked with tropical bushes, but it is a border garden around the patios to the front and rear of the property. Tables and chairs are provided for 6 people for alfresco dining. The private pool has an electric heater. It is about 12 feet wide by 20 feet long. The depth varies from 3-5 feet. The pool area is separated from the rear patio, by the house and a wall and gate, thus providing safety for small children. The pool is not covered for similar reasons. The steps into the pool are child friendly, as is the bottom of the pool, which is tiled. The wall at the front of the house and the gates are some 2m tall for privacy and shelter.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is 150m from the house. It is easy to walk down the beach in to the centre of Corralejo. This walk would take 20 mins. There are restaurants on this beach. Flag beach and the Dunes beaches, which are some 7 miles long, start within 1km of the house. The beaches and lagoons of El Cotillo are some 15km away. In in both Corralejo and El Cotillo there are some beaches which are safe for bathing. Others are excellent surfing beaches.
Golf
The Fuerteventura golf course is 40 mins drive from Casa Loro. Some two years ago, an international event was held on this golf course.
Travel
The Fuerteventura airport is some 35 minutes by car from Corralejo. Car hire is available at the airport as are taxis to Corralejo. There are car hire offices near to Casa Loro or of course some companies will bring a vehicle directly to the house.
Distances
Casa Loro is central to all parts of Corralejo. The market and the Corralejo water park are less than 2km from the house. The main street in Corralejo is less than a kilometre away.
Further details
There are many excellent restaurants in Corralejo. They cater for a wide variety of tastes. The nearest one is a new Curry House on the way to the high street. In the opposite direction the Bahia Real Hotel boasts one of the finest Japanese restaurants. There is a new shopping centre, some 200m from Casa Loro and a Halifax bank. The nearest supermarket is a large Netto which is in this new shopping centre. It is about 150m from the front gate. Because of its excellent position in Corralejo, a vehicle is by no means essential.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £150 per week payable within 7 days is required to secure the booking. The full amount must be paid at least 8 weeks prior to the date of occupancy. Bookings made less than eight weeks prior to occupancy must be paid for in full at the time of booking. A security deposit of £150 will be required at the time of full payment. This will be returned within a week of departure if the villa managers confirm there has been no damage or breakages.
