Casa de Casero is situated in the prestigious new residential development of Mirador de Las Dunas in the Parque Natural area of the ever popular town of Corralejo, with its stunning beaches, friendly and relaxed atmosphere and abundant shops and restaurants. The complex is in a front-line position to the beautiful, protected sand dunes of Corralejo, with unimpeded views of the sea and the islands of Lobos and Lanzarote. Bordered by protected park land, it also has panoramic mountain views. It is within a secure gated community and has a large communal area with a wonderful lagoon style pool and a smaller shallow pool for children. There is also a jacuzzi and a paddle tennis court soon to be constructed. As the area is residential and also brand new, there are currently very few residents, so it is the perfect place to literally 'get away from it all'! The villa has all the home comforts you need for a wonderfully relaxing holiday, including the recent addition of private swimming pool.

Fully tiled main bathroom consisting of bath with shower over, washbasin, bidet and toilet. The en-suite has enclosed shower, washbasin and toilet. There is also a cloakroom downstairs with WC and basin. A hairdryer and hair straighteners are provided. |

The fitted kitchen contains: stainless steel electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, sandwich toaster and plenty of crockery and utensils. There is also a breakfast bar which seats 4. |

There is no separate utility room. A highchair, travel cot and pushchair are available free of charge if required. |

Cleaning/towels/

All towels and bedlinen are included, even beach towels! For bookings of longer than a week, the villa will be cleaned mid-holiday and the towels and linen changed at that time. The owners live nearby and are available for help and advice if required. |
Notes on accommodation
Casa de Casero is ideal for couples or families with children. A basic welcome pack will await you on your arrival. There's nothing worse than not being able to make a cuppa and a snack, or crack open a bottle of wine after your journey. A luxury food and drink pack can also be arranged -please enquire. The garden area is fully enclosed with lockable electrically operated entrance gate. The roof terrace is accessed via a staircase directly on the landing outside the bedrooms - there is a stairgate for the safety of small children. Smoking is not permitted in the villa, only on the outside sun terraces. We feel that we have created a real 'home from home' with everything you could possibly need for a fabulous holiday on this beautiful island.

Accessibility
The property is not currently suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The villa has a large garden area which is gradually being landscaped, including the recent addition of a 5m x 3m private swimming pool, a large tiled terrace area, a pergola for those who prefer a bit of shade, a BBQ area, a pool table/electric air hockey game and plenty of furniture for the all important sunbathing and al fresco dining! There is a driveway for one car at the front of the house and plenty of separate parking spaces on the road just outside. The lovely communal pool area is a couple of minutes walk away and has a large lagoon style pool, a separate shallow children's pool and a Jacuzzi. The development consists of apartments, townhouses, semi detached villas and detached villas and it has attractive palm-lined walkways both within and around it. As it backs directly onto the sand dunes, it is possible to walk or cycle across them to the gorgeous beaches near the 2 RIU hotels - our children managed this in 30 minutes!
Coast/Beach
The breathtakingly beautiful beaches and sand dunes are only a 5 minute drive away. They stretch for miles along the east coast and are a haven not only for all water sport enthusiasts, but also for those of us who prefer to relax in the sunshine with the sea breeze washing over us! There are some lovely smaller beaches which are good for children in the resort of Corralejo itself and if you drive for around 15 minutes towards the west coast you find the lovely lagoon beaches of El Cotillo.
Golf
The Championship golf course (host of the 2004 Spanish open) in Caleta de Fuste is around 40 minutes away by car.
Travel
Direct flights available to Puerto del Rosario from most UK airports. The cheapest deals are often with Ryanair who fly from Liverpool and Dublin. Other good prices often found on the internet. The property is approximately 30 mins drive from the airport and approximately 5 mins by car (25 mins walk) into the main resort of Corralejo (about 5 Euros in a taxi). The nearest supermarket & restaurants are a 15 min walk away or approx 5 min drive. We recommend that you hire a car.
Distances
The famous sand dune beaches are approx 5 mins drive, though there are some lovely beaches in and around Corralejo which are clean and safe for small children. It is a 5 minute drive or 25 min walk to the centre of town. There are also some lovely places to visit in the Canarian villages. The roads are extremely good and never crowded - driving around the island is a pretty relaxing experience and well worth the effort! We do recommend that you hire a car to get the most from your holiday.
Further details
5 minutes in the car (15 mins walk) will get you to the nearest shops, restaurants, bars and a bank. However, Corralejo has much to offer in terms of Spanish charm and authenticity. There are plenty of restaurants to try out, including traditional Canarian food, Italian, Chinese, Mexican and English. We have provided information and recommendations at the villa. The harbour area is full of great restaurants, bars, and cafes, from which you can sit and watch the world go by. The Baku water park is nearby, again only 5 minutes drive away (20 mins walk), along with other attractions in the same vicinity, such as the twice weekly market and the 10 pin bowling alley. The new Campanario commercial centre may also be of interest. For those of you who prefer the indoor shopping experience, Las Rotundas shopping centre in Puerto del Rosario may appeal!
Booking notes
£150/€200 deposit required upon booking, with the balance due no later than 6 weeks prior to your departure date. Preferred method of payment is bank transfer. A refundable security deposit of £100/€100 is also required upon payment of the balance. Prices subject to change at the owners discretion.
