Our comfortable and well managed detached villa was designed to enjoy complete privacy on the south facing sun terraces that surround the swimming pool. The villa stands in a quiet position in a large well-established 'Lanzarote style' garden that is surrounded by 6' high walls and fences. This exclusive area is about a five minute drive from the beach and Playa Blanca village. All main rooms face south over the garden and pool. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, mosquito screens at the windows and shutters. The kitchen has all appliances and the dining room and lounge each comfortably seat 6. The 8m long freeform shaped solar-heated swimming pool can be electrically heated at extra cost upon request from October - April inclusive to maintain c. 27 - 30c. The covered terrace has comfortable outside seating & dining area with cooling fan over. There is a local shop, bus service and taxi rank only 3 minutes walk. We have a 'no smoking' policy. Wi-fi is available upon request at extra cost.

Notes on prices
Prices are per week for up to 4 people. Add £10 per person per day for up to a maximum of 6 people. Changeover commencement day is Thursday. Our rates are those applicable at the time of booking. Split weeks charged on a pro-rata basis - minimum 10 day duration. The swimming pool is solar heated all year round but can be electrically heated by prior booking from October - April at an extra cost of £45 per week to provide a comfortable swimming temperature of 27-30c degrees, subject to weather.
Changeover day
Our changeover commencement day for weekly or longer bookings is Thursday. Longer split-week bookings can be accommodated according to availability and season, but with a minimum 10 day duration. Arrival time is after 2.00pm. Departure by 10.30am.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The main bedroom suite is set on it's own and has a double bed. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are situated off a separate lobby and each has twin beds. All bedrooms have a built in wardrobe, 3-speed ceiling fan, mosquito screens and shutters at the windows. |

The villa is prepared for your arrival by our English managers. All linen and domestic towels are included, but not beach and pool towels that can be rented direct from our managers by prior request. There is a mid-week towel change and pool clean. |

Notes on accommodation
We provide a selection of DVD films, PlayStation and ipod docking station/speakers/charger; a security safe and heaters for the odd chilly evening in the winter. A high chair is available upon request. Cots are available at extra cost. Wi-fi available upon request at extra cost - reserve when booking. Please note that Playa Blanca is one of the quietest resorts on the island and lacks the nightlife that places such as Puerto del Carmen have to offer. Our villa is therefore best suited for those couples and families who want to get away from it all and enjoy a peaceful and private holiday.
Outside
Our villa is set on a large 1,000 sq.m. plot surrounded by 6 foot high walls, fences and gates. The more formal Lanzarote-style garden is separate from the stunning pool area that features our free-form shaped 8 metre long swimming pool. The pool has a built in 'Swim Jet' for keener swimmers and a submerged sunbathing platform so you can relax in the sun without getting hot. It is solar-heated all year but additional electric heating can be provided, if required, at extra cost between October and April to maintain the daytime water temperature at c. 27-30 degrees depending upon weather conditions. The pool heating costs £45 per week and needs to be booked at the time of reservation. The south-facing sun terraces have ample sun beds, an umbrella, comfortable undercover outdoor seating area, dining table and chairs with cooling ceiling fan over. There is a built-in barbeque.
Coast/Beach
There are sandy beaches about a 5-10 minute drive together with several adjacent restaurants and supermarkets. The paved coastal promenade extends for miles in each direction. The famous and more remotely situated beaches at Papagayo are a 15 minute drive. The fashionable Rubicon Marina is about ten minutes drive and has a variety of waterside restaurants and bars overlooking the boats.
Golf
Lanzarote has two 18-hole Golf Courses that are situated at Costa Tequise and Puerto del Carmen, about 40 minutes and 25 minutes drive respectively.
Travel
Arrecife airport is a 30 minutes drive on excellent roads. There are a number of car-hire operators with their offices adjacent to the Arrivals Hall and their rates are low compared to the mainland. Although hiring a car is strongly recommended, there are taxis from the airport and there is a taxi-rank only 3 minutes walk from our villa, along with a local bus service into Playa Blanca and the surrounding area. We can assist car hire if required.
Distances
Playa Blanca is a picturesque village about a 5 minute drive and has a delightful seafront promenade. It has become a vibrant small town with a modern shopping area, variety of restaurants, bars and supermarkets, banks, doctors, pharmacists, etc, but it has retained it's reputation as a quieter resort, lacking wild night life! The excellent roads mean that even the most distant places of interest are no more than an hours drive. A fast ferry to Fuerteventura goes from Playa Blanca harbour.

The island has a variety of fascinating features where man & nature have created some spectacular tourist attractions and we supply a comprehensive list of suggested places to visit and eat out. Shopping is no chore as there is a local shop within 3 minutes walk and a selection of excellent supermarkets within a 5-10 minute drive.
Booking notes
Our changeover commencement day is Thursday but longer split weeks can booked with minimum 10 day duration. Once terms are agreed we will send you a reservation form that must be returned within 7 days, together with a deposit of one-third of the total rental due. The balance, or the full amount, is required 8 weeks prior to your departure, together with a damage deposit of £250.
