Accessibility
This property is not really suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The apartment block has gardens, a swimming pool with sun loungers and a toddler’s pool. All pools are unheated.
There is a patio with poolbar.
There is plenty of free parking at the front of the apartments.
Coast/Beach
Playa del Cura beach is 150m walk away, it is clean, sandy and safe for swimming, sun loungers and umbrellas can be hired. Amadores beach is 2km away by car, bus or a leisurely walk, with its white Caribbean sand and blue sea, it is clearly visible from the apartment balcony.
Golf
Situated just 2km away in the next bay is the Anfi Tauro par 3 golf course with magnificent sea and mountain views. This challenging course has been designed by world-class golf course designers von Hagge, Smelek and Baril.
Facilities include a 40,000m² driving range, a practice tee and course, chipping zone, golf academy as well as a plantation style clubhouse to round off play.
Also, within a short drive, is the established PGA course in Maspalomas and Salobre Golf.
Special interest holidays
Puerto Rico less than 10 mins away by taxi or local bus. You can find scuba diving, paragliding, jet skis and lots of other water activities here.
Travel
Las Palmas airport is approx 35km away. Car hire is advised but local taxis are very cheap and easy to call. The return taxi journey from and to the airport will cost around 90 euros approx. Buses are cheap, frequent and go to all resorts on the island.
Distances
Local restaurants are 50m away. Puerto Rico for nightlife and shopping is 4km away; ferries and boat trips also leave from there. Puerto de Mogan with its wonderful harbour/marina restaurants is 6km. Las Palmas is an hour's drive where you can shop till you drop.
Further details
The good weather conditions all year round make Gran Canaria the perfect destination for those looking for plenty of fun in the sea. Sea temperatures rarely drop below 19ºC, the average temperature being around 23°C. The island is considered one of the world’s best windsurfing destinations but sailing, scuba diving, jet and water skiing, and sailing are all activities that are easily available all around the island.
