Panoramic 180 degree Ocean views are enjoyed from this centrally located house that can sleep at least 6 in the property’s two bedrooms and three bed settees in the lounge. The living room has its own dining area with table and chairs. There is Satellite TV and cooling fans. Fully fitted modern kitchen with tall fridge freezer, washing machine, ceramic hob, extractor hood, and full size oven, kettle/ toaster/ sandwich toastie, microwave oven. There is a large south facing 15m2 private balcony off the lounge. This balcony is secluded for sun bathing and gets the sun all day. Located close to the 'Fuerte Commercial Centre' with bars/restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. This property is situated in the prime rear elevated row of the upmarket La Residencie development. This property is the only property that is currently availible for rent that enjoys uninterrupted ocean views. This is the unique selling point of the prime rear row. A truly enjoyable view.

Notes on prices
Cleaning prices (70 euros) - addl fee paid on island directly to agent. Most properties in Costa Calma operate this way. The renter pays the cleaner on arrival for the cleaning + laundry. 70 euros for major clean to get the property ready (fresh bedding towels). Optional 30 euros for an interim clean & fresh bedding (end of week 1).

Rates (see price section) can include a full clean, linen and towels on arrival. If staying for two weeks, there is an optional interim clean and bedding etc changeover. Airport transfers can be arranged. An English speaking agent is on hand 24-7. |
Notes on accommodation
There are cooling fans in every room for the summer and heater in the rare event that you might need this in the winter. However, remember, Fuerteventura's temperate year round climate make air-con or heating largely redundant - it's not Cyprus or Turkey! There is constant airy breezes throughout the property. Air-con is not necessary so don't pay for it in rental rates.

There are only three steps into the property so accessibility is reasonable.
Outside
What is the Unique Selling Point (USP) of this property? Why choose this property over others? Simple - it has great views. The rear row is the only row with uninterrupted ocean views - if you're thinking of booking on the La Residencie development - do yourself a favour and insist on the prime rear row. Sit here, enjoy the sun, and enjoy the views.
Coast/Beach
Costa Calma beach is approximately 10 minutes walk from the apartment. It is cleaned daily. There is plenty to do on the beach including sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling, wind surfing, hiring of jet skis. Further round the coast there are sailing schools and kite surfing schools. There are various beach bars and numerous sun beds and umbrellas for hire as well.
Golf
There is a course on the outskirts of Costa Calma about ten minutes away by car. There are two championship courses in Calete de Fuste - about 35 minutes by car. Contact me please for web sites of these courses etc.
Special interest holidays
Windsurfing. During July/August, Hundreds of wind surfers descend on Fuerteventura when the island is host to the World Wind Surfing championship held at Satavento Beach, approximately 4 kilometres from the apartment. This is a must for anyone visiting the island during this time.
Travel
The Islands airport is approx 60km from our apartment. We can arrange airport collection/delivery if required. Once in Costa Calma there should be everything you need and as such car hire is not essential. The next main town Of Morro Jable is approx 15 mins drive/bus or taxi ride (approx 15 euros).

Airport - approx 60km
Oasis Park/Zoo - approx 10 mins in car.
Golf (Calete De Fuste) - approx 30-40 mins in car.
Morro Jable (Jandia penisula beaches) - 15 mins in car.
Further details
Costa Calma has a weekly Sunday Morning Market, which starts about 9am. There is a whole range of goods on offer to include anything from having a massage through to bags, watches, clothing and sun glasses - all original designer makes of course!
There are a variety of bars and restaurants throughout Costa Calma to be enjoyed. For those seeking high and very late night life, this can be found in the next main resort south of Costa Calma in Morro Jable whcih is a 15 minute drive away.
There are two principle theme park attractions in Fuerteventura, the water park in Corrlaejo (to the north of the island) and the Oasis Park Zoo in La Lajita (near Costa Calma). The Oasis Park is only a short drive from the apartment and comprises of a Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Camel rides, parrot park, crocodile shows ! The Zoo features over 200 species including alligators, monkeys, giraffes, sea lions, zebras and birds etc.
Booking notes
A deposit of £30 is taken for a booking of one week and £50 for a booking of two weeks. The balance is due one month before departing. There is NO breakages deposit - you're adults and I trust you. It's simple and stress free to book - so go on - book now!
